Killing the Canadian My.Yahoo

They destroyed the U.S. my.yahoo page sending refugees fleeing to the Canadian page. Now they're killing the Canadian page. Surely there is an opportunity for an entrepreneur to create a no.yahoo.com

Apparently YAHOO does NOT read its subscribers' gripes about the new format...
My idea, since YAHOO doesn't seem to care about its subscribers' opinions about the new format - I am not using YAHOO as my homepage anymore. I have gone over to Google. Have fun ruining your eyesight with YAHOO.

Blocking PoPup/Scrolling Ads from Appearing anywhere on a Webpage
Scrolling Advertising is not classified right now, as a Popup Ad. This means any Unscrupulous Advertiser that wants to "STEAL" Web-space inside another window, is open to do so.
All Advertising that Appears out of the per-described area assigned for the Ad, needs to be re-classified as a "PopUp", even if they are Scrolling Advertising inside another Webpage Window. After 15 years of having yahoo as my home page I am really considering switching, this is the worst redesign yet!
The preview pane doesn't work, the scrolling is twitchy, is this a beta version or something, come on! Fix it, it's a joke, there was nothing wrong with the old one.

Go back to the previous format.
Fire the people that came up with this hare-brained design. Did anyone ask any users what they thought. It looks like someone in the computer design area was telling management what they felt the public wanted.
I am looking at this site less and less and soon I won't look at it at all.

The present format is absolutely a pain. Not only can I no longer skim the whole page at once and the only way to find anything, like yahoo groups. I now have to do an internet search. How inconvenient. Maybe it is time to find a better news page and email?

I would like to just say that I thought the old Yahoo pages were much better. I am especially disappointed with the Yahoo Sports layout now.
I would recommend returning the Yahoo page layout to its former glory.

Loss of My Yahoo
Many of us have set our My Yahoo financial info so it can be easily copied into tracking spreadsheets. We are worried all that work will be lost. Will we be able to transfer our portfolios in My Yahoo to ca.yahoo.com and/or us.yahoo.com automatically or will we need to start from scratch? You need to explain how best to do the transfer.
Please advise.
Or better yet, who do we contact to keep My Yahoo?Cheers

Stop the bull ****
I guess the American parent company of Yahoo Canada is under the assumption that Canadians are stupid! There were a large number of complaints that we wanted our Canadian News returned since Yahoo changed its format. So instead there apparently isn't enough Canadian News so they shroud "The Canadian Press" to make it seem like its about Canada only to be about the USA! Its easy to get news from America its in our face daily. We want Canadian news! Eh! Not Duh!
