You sponsored ad links are hijacking the browsers
Your sponsored links are hijacking browsers. They open annoynig pop-ups, with bate and switch web tactics. I find it very annoying, time consuming and frustrating over 60% of Yahoo web space are tabloid sponsored ads that's wreaking havoc on your loyal follower's computers. Please resolve this ASAP if you wish to maintain your loyal viewer base.

Just bring format back to way it was, same as US format, and remove new giant ad above it..brutal, cant use as my home page anymore

With this new home page format how do i delete any news (real/quasi/false/or otherwise) items from the list displayed. There are many that I have no wish to see as i scroll past them.

new home page mixes sponsored AD headlines in with real news (and even the 'real' news is more entertainment than news)- despicable! and the scroll is terrible. what have you done? and regardless of all the negative feedback the terrible changes persist. shame on you yahoo.

Why did you change your Home Flash News Post Page? it is absolutely terrible on Mozilla Firefox Browser. Once inside your OWN posts you cannot view "VIEW MORE POST' This is when the posts for any given article have exceeded your pre determined Threshold of viewable post

I would like to see a news section where everyday Canadians can submit a referendum question about any worth while Canadian situation.
Let's have a referendum section where Canadians can vote on important Canadian issues associated with Canada. Example, should Muslin women who join the RCMP be allowed to wear the hijab. Vote yes they should or no they shouldn't.
Another example: Should Canada build their own jet fighters with the help of another country. yes or no
Another example: Should the Canadian Senate be eliminated, yes or no.
If you start this type of information section, I believe it would quickly grow into a Canadian first and would be so popular that the government would have to take notice.

Why do stories that are months and months old keep popping back up on your home page?
Stories I have read 6 months ago suddenly come back to the home page. I thought we lost another plane in the Med. or another poor kid was attacked by an alligator at Disney. Keep the stories current!!

I have changed to MSN for news. Your Homepage is so annoying filled with stories that are anything but newsworthy. Just garbage reading.
Have a 'Customise your Homepage' option. Let your users build their own homepage that meets their needs from options Yahoo gives them to choose from. This would include such things as what news categories are higher priority to us. For example sports stories may be preferred over entertainment news for some etc etc.
The distracting flashing ads off to the side of news stories must go. I give my input and delete these ads only to be thanked by Yahoo for my feedback but they pop right back again. I'm tired of it. It is time for a grown up…
