Here's an idea. Be good. Start by paying 'all' of your taxes. Next, I tried posting a comment somewhere (about coffee, following a link from a friend) and was forced to register with Yahoo, which I otherwise have zero use for. Yahoo asked me for a handle and then instead of using it, used my first real name. Losers! And the comment, which came in 5 characters under the limit, and included no links or profanity, wouldn't get accepted. Why? I don't read machine language, which was what followed the 'oops error' alert. Now I just want to un-register. Someone...…

I am so sick and tired, completely fed up with having to constantly turn my homepage to Canada.. I am not living in the USA.. but every DAMNED DAY!! I turn on my laptop and bamm there is my YAHOO HOMEPAGE set on American and not Canada English AGAIN!! no matter what I do to try and set it.. BAMM back to the USA Homepage AGAIN..I am going to start to use a different system than Yahoo .. it;s become too frustrating!! Seems Canadians dont matter on your site anymore..

I don't know if there is an editor on staff, but one should exist - all major news outlets have at least one.
For example, the news article "Charleston suspect alleged manifesto", church is spelled as 'chruch'; instead of 21 year old suspect, it is '21-yare-old', or 'Roof reportedly purchased the weapon in April for his 21st birthday with money give to him as a gift by his father' - I believe that should be "Roof reportedly purchased the weapon in April for his 21st birthday with money giveN to him as a gift by his father."

The Daily Mail stuff should be on the bottom of your feed. I clicked on a story and it's sickening.
I usually go directly to news sites. NyTimes, Washington Post, Haaretz, Hollywood Reporter for entertainment. News aggregate sites like yours or Reddit have too much cr_p. I ended up on your home page after reading through Yahoo Tech and came across a click bait story about Eric Clapton. I though that because it was Yahoo, it would not be *. It was * and the link lead to the Daily Mail a repository and creator of filth. Not worth the clicks you're getting.

Eliminate Daily Mail articles on Homepage
Too much awful Daily Mail on homepage. It's a total rag. Some British news o.k. if from international source like Reuters or British publication like The Guardian. I'm switching back to Bing News until Yahoo Canada smartens up. Bing has a lot of interesting world and Canadan news from reputable sources. Bing's sports and entertainment not as good as Yahoo Canada however.
