Is there an issue with accessing email accounts today?

Everytime I get an email saying I should download the yahoo email app, it stops me accessing emails in my phone's email folder, telling me I need to sign in again. This doesn't work however, until I delete and reinstall my yahoo information.
Since my yahoo account was hacked, I will NEVER download anything related to yahoo to my phone and am fed up of not being able to access emails because yahoo only wants me to use their app, I can only presume it's so they have more access to my information, which will then be vulnerable the next time Yahoo's incredibly poor security fails (or sold).
I think it might be time to move away from yahoo altogether and stay with providers that don't sell people's information. -

I keep getting a message telling me there has been unusual activity on my account , and I have to get a security code sent by text to access my account. I can not find out why.

I have accessed my E-Mail account but it gives me letters I have not pressed and it is very slow to respond it is time yahoo sorted it out

Every two minutes getting message telling me that sign in was not successful although have been signing in and out ok.

yes the same for me absolutely **** and rubbish since being taken over abnf even moreso now as rss feeds have not worked for over 30 months.Get it sorted out otherwise everyone will go to google

I don't get this forum but my yahoo account today has been almost impossible to use. Messages not being sent or saved. What is going on? I have a business to run.
