"Show less from" (various sites)

When I click to "show less from" (a site), then select "Manage Publishers" and choose the site(s) to remove, upon reloading the page the removed news items just reappear, so what exactly is the point of this activity?

    I'm fed up with this too. I have no interest in Warrington or Bradford etc, but no matter how often I click on the show less option, they just reappear time and time again
