Like probably hundreds of thousands of other users I am tearing my hair out trying to find a way to generate an app password. After research it seems as though probably the only way to get this to work would be to upgrade my account to mail plus.

However, every time I enter my payment details they are rejected with a message that reads 'offer available for US customers only'...

The ONLY reason I am signing up to the paid service is just to try to get an app password generated. Yet despite me trying to pay, Yahoo aren't even willing to take my money to get it working.

Unbelievable that a company as big and well respected as Yahoo could be behaving with such utter incompetence.
