Bring Back Mail BLOCKING
I am hit every day with SPAM. I mark it as SPAM and that does no good. The "Unsubscribe" links don't work, either. So, how can I stop receiving SPAM from this annoying website? BLOCKING would be helpful since nothing else works.

I want the old email block you had on Classic, I used it 100's of times. Why change it? Because you want to force people to use the new, worse format.....obviously to us ...thats why all my important mail now is Gmail...the change is so you can collect more data, I hate you

I have had to move spam emails that I want completely blocked into my inbox first then go into options and put the spam address into the BLOCKED ADDRESSES but I STILL get spam email from the same addresses that I have already blocked. I get almost 200 spam in 2 days. This is RIDICULOUS AND *********.

Hm, that doesn't make sense "You have to move spam mail to inbox then unsubscribe/block will work" LOL I wouldn't think it would work. It's probobly best to setup a filter though hard to do for each spam email unless you can generalize on the sender/domain:( Spammers can make the email look like it's from anyone! So often they have a different sender or domain each time. gmails spam filter is near perfect!

You have to move spam mail to inbox then unsubscribe/block will work. However, here is where the problem lies because as soon as you unsubscribe/block from sender they simply change their address. For example, you get mail from John Smith@whatever.com and you block it they will send the same spam under John Smith#1@whatever.com or John Smith#2@whatever.com so it's endless BS. I'm having all my important mail sent to newly created Gmail acct. and I'm a lot happier with results. I haven't had 1 spam or any unwanted mail and I'm about to throw a ticker-tape parade for this.
