Basic Mail provides base functionality like reading and writing messages, but does not include many of the advanced options. To use these features, we recommend upgrading to full-featured version of Yahoo Mail.

  3. I am being spammed to death and Yahoo is supporting it

    I am being spammed to death and Yahoo is supporting it. I unsubscribed a week ago, now they are spamming me 2 or 3 times per hour. They are from a Yahoo domain. They use Yahoo as an ISP. I complained to Yahoo. Now in all me forwards sent to abuse@yahoo.com the body of the spam has been removed, by Yahoo! The evidence is gone! Yahoo did it! I am quite disturbed and STILL GETTING SPAMMED!
    I am switching to gmail.

  8. Screen your ads please. Or give an X so we can delete it.

    Jet.com ads feature sexually positioned ladies. My kids see that. There is no way to delete it. I am not against ads, sometimes I see something interesting and I click it. But you should make the software so that if I don't click on it, or CERTAINLY if I can click it off, I'm not interested in that ad, please don't show it again. I have no idea what magazines featuring ladies in undies bend over a car spread eagle or one holding her naked breasts has to do with Jet.com but I will never go to that webpage to…

  11. I just created this email account , have not given it out to anyone , yet i am already getting SPAM from Viagra pervs . Yahoo the culprit ?

    Although i will admit I may have used this old account years ago lol , but dam shouldn't old spammers be gone by now ? Warning to anyone receiving SPAM it may be because you are using an old closed out account that you may have forgotten you used before . SPAM is a permanent **** on closed accounts as well .

    Why do I have to sign every time I want to read my mail? I do not want to change my password, I just want to be able to access my mail. I nam not interested in sports, or advertisements, or vacations or clothing or politics. Ijust want to read my mail

    First of all, I take umbrage at Yahoo's suggestion that the browser I choose to use is not the most current available for my operating system.

    Because I choose Open Source software over corporately owned software, you are making a conscious decision to deny me the benefits of your 'new and improved' Yahoo email web UI. On what basis to you take it upon yourselves to tell ANYBODY what software they shall or shall not use? That is the height of hubris by any reasonable person's standards.

  17. Nothing works anymore. Hope Verizon puts Yahoo out of its misery ...

    First Yahoo Finance got destroyed and despite thousands of objections by users, it go worse. I left Yahoo Finance for Morningstar. Now these jokers are destroying Yahoo Mail. Not much works. Its slow, I have to log in every time, even if I refresh the page. Pages don't load completely, etc, etc. Moving on to Google and gmail. Hope Verizon puts Yahoo out of its misery completely. Thank you and good bye.
