online help requests seem to be looped whereas I get sent back to same pages and nothing is accomplished

You are a GIANT corporation. You are providing TERRIBLE Customer Service. It is VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE to get assistance with problems in Yahoo. I got an email that said ‘chatting’ was possible but Email DID NOT direct me to link for chatting AND Email indicated my concern had been addressed so I could not follow up with the person who responded to my concern who had made this recommendation. I was not treated humanly OR humanely. Other information in the email from your version of Customer Service WAS UNCLEAR. It was also galling that the person WROTE apologies and ‘thank yous’ BUT THE actions of your organization in terms of assisting it’s customer DO NOT REFLECT AN ATTITUDE of appreciation of customers OR ANY sense of contrition. Your system is clearly not designed to be accessible or helpful to its Yahoo users which means to me that I am not a customer but a data point to be used by your REAL customers who want the data, ie companies with ads, etc, etc. it is VERY distressing to me that giant corporations like yours really do not care about people. Your actions as a company in terms of customer service access indicate you really only care about money & power. I’m told ‘chatting’ with Yahoo Help is an option but no explanation HOW TO DO THAT OR ACCESS THAT is given to me. Your system is clearly designed to frustrate the user asking for help with the result being they eventually end up giving up. If you are going to have people responding to email - please make sure they actually provide ACTIONABLE OPTIONS not meaningless words. Also - it would be better to get people who are living in the US. MY EMAIL was clearly answered by someone from another culture who does not know English well enough to be answering the questions. But I know you’re saving $ with a call center out of the US. AGAIN - helps YOUR bottom line BUT PROVIDES POOR Customer Service. Until your company actually decides little peons like me matter though I’m wasting my breath. ALSO PLEASE don’t have a phone number listed and initially answered with message saying call will be returned AND/OR answered if it’s NOT TRUE. I left at least 10 messages - no response. I stayed on phone for 1 hour & 45 minutes - no answer. Terrible!!

Sooo frustrated!! Can't find option for customer support. They only give you a lot of options that have nothing to do with problem. Every time I log in, I am put on yahoo generic home page with liberal news, and have to click on "go to my page" and sign in again. I want 'my page' to pop up without having to sign in every time. Please help! I can't even contact support with any help or answers. I hate yahoo! They don't want anyone to see conservative news apparently.

Yahoo is owned by Verizon Communications. You have to contact them to get through to any help via a LIVE human. 1 (800) 837-4966. The only thing I can say to Verizon about there useless looped help is "hey Verizon, CAN YOU E-MAIL ME NOW!"
