Commenting is horrible. Bring back the old style. The sorting is garbage. Or use Disqus.
If you can't provide the original sorting options that the old commenting pages had, then cut bait and go with a Disqus plugin. It does it better and offers realitime updates while you're on the page.

I have stopped reading Yahoo news.
I no longer visit your news page. I like to scan headlines and read the news. Your page is not setup to allow me to change a headline view, and there is not much to read. It does not capture my interest. I do read google news. Scanning the headlines I then am able to decide what I want to read or not.
