Why is there no 'new messsage' notification?
I avoid checking email. Theres always too much spam that is also difficult to manage with the filters. Marking unwanted messages as spam seems to have no effect.

Help how do I add or delete contacts? This used to be easy. I want my old yahoo back.
Yahoo used to be easy to use back in the good old days. Now there's tons of contacts I do not want including inappropriate ones. I want to add new contacts plus many contacts are just gone. HELP!

I liked it better when my new emails were in bold black print, I could tell which ones I have read and which ones I haven't read!

How can I turn off the newsfeeds? I don't want all that data loading on my phone.
How do I stop all the newsfeeds from loading? I don't want to pay data charges for all the graphics, etc. I also need the background to be darker and the font is much too skinny to read quickly at a glance. I also need a much faster way to delete my inbox and unwanted emails.

The app used to automatically load the next mail when the current mail was deleted. So it was possible to quickly read and delete emails.
Now I'm taken back to the Inbox and I've got to select the next email. This makes it much slower, and I've already started to use the app less as I've now got to click twice rather than once for every email. Please bring the auto-advance option back.

Developer pls provide the auto advance feature in the settings of the Yahoo mail app
By auto advance feature I mean- after reading a mail if I delete the mail then the app should move to the older/newer mail.this feature should be provided in the settings.this is a very handy feature.now what is happening is that every time I delete a mail the app moves to the conversation list.thanks.hope u will provide this feature in the next update.thanking u in anticipation of your kind help n response.

I miss being able to delete unwanted emails from the notification bar.
I used to be able to scroll the notification menu and delete unwanted messages without opening them. The update took away that option. I want it back.

Spam and block
The spam button way far, for every email i have to tap many options to mark it spam, spam is the feature which needs to be very handy. It must be one tap spam.
Also there is no block option... Like seriously? Why can't you give me block option so that i can block some repeated spammers -
Folders do not give notifications
I use filters to send a lot of emails to different folders, but I only get notifications for the inbox. I have missed quite a few important emails because of this. How can this be fixed?

Bring back the "blocked senders" list.
Bring back the BLOCK SENDER opition ! PLEASE ! So much easier to block a domain name or person . And NOT get ANY emails from a domain or person .
No matter if you send a piece of unwanted mail to the spam folder, you still get mail from that domain . Somehow that **** gets in my inbox . -

Emails languishing in outbox
Time and time again emails don't actually send. They remain in the depths of the outbox regardless of how many time one tries to resend. I suggest you fix this infuriating issue.
