- Click the 3 lines 2.Go to more tools 3.find the yahoo extension 4.click the check mark 5.Enjoy not having the dumb yahoo extension anymore

THANK YOU!!! THE MISERY IS OVER!!! These instructions work (almost) for Firefox, too, but this helped me figure it out:
1. Click the 3 lines.
2. Go to Add-ons.
3. Go to extensions.
4. Click "disable" on "Search and New Tab by Yahoo".
5. All is right with the world again.
