The new homepage stinks.
First you change the homepage on my phone. Now you change it on my computer. Stop trying to be avant-garde. You're just hurting your company. I implore you to change the homepage back. I always used Yahoo as my search engine. If I had free time, I would just sit and mindlessly browse the news. Now I can't do that. I guess, for now, I'm switching to Google. At least they care enough about their consumers to keep the same homepage. Also, if you'll notice, I've already changed my email provider to gmail. I hope you're prepared to lost a lot of money.

i agree with the op here. i miss the scrolling news stories...it gave me enough information to stay current, and choose what i want to fully read. i hate clicking on an article, only to get part of it, and have to click "read more" to get the whole thing. of course i want to read more...i clicked on it to read it! i miss choosing what i don't want to see articles on...like kartrashians and kanye west. where are the comics? why do i have such a hard time getting to the yahoo page of another country? why can't i choose the categories i want to see listed on the right side?
please change back to the previous format, or i will choose a different homepage, after years of using yahoo!

Yahoo used to be an interesting site to read the news and check comments. Now it's just another mindless blog

Go to att.net-yahoo It is the old Yahoo format that everyone liked with the scrolling headlines on top and it even has "my comments"

If you don't change the homepage back to something more like it was before, then I will be switching to Google or MSNBC. My biggest gripe is when I click on a newslink to read the info, I almost always get the "READ MORE"! Why the heck do I want to pull up the article 2 times?

I TOTALLY AGREE. I MISS THE NEWS FEED THAT WAS A CAROSEL THAT MOVED FORM LEFT TO RIGHT. IF THEY DONT MOVE BACK THE OLD VERSION I AM SWITCHING TO MSN OR AOL.

The new home page makes it take much more time to read an article. Click on the article name, then click on read more, and a lot of times it's a video instead of the article.
I read much less than I used to because it takes so much time.
The old home page was easier to use, and quicker. Sponsored items are too many and not clear they are sponsored. -

I have to agree, the new format is the pits and pretty much useless. I am changing my home page.
This is nothing more than a blatant attempt by yahoo to regulate what news you'll recieve, it won't work yahoo, to many other sources.

I accept that this comment will fall on deaf, uncaring ears but it still gives me some satisfaction. I hate the new home page and hate the fact that you continue to do things under the guise of "making it better for us." Why does "search web" stop working after you're on the site a few minutes? Will move to google and will not shed a tear as Yahoo continues to fade away.

Apparently Yahoo is too egotistical to admit they screwed up their website and now won't fix it.

I find that with the new format I do not click on the articles as much and do not comment either, so I don't waste as much time scrolling through the news feed and just go straight to the e-mails, quickly look through them and then go to another website or just close out.

Please go back to the old homepage. People come to yahoo for the news not as a search engine. the News focus on that. Stop mixing all the BS ads into your site. Clearly identify them as adds or sponsors that will send you to another site.... the News... that is it.. Focus..
