The new homepage stinks.
First you change the homepage on my phone. Now you change it on my computer. Stop trying to be avant-garde. You're just hurting your company. I implore you to change the homepage back. I always used Yahoo as my search engine. If I had free time, I would just sit and mindlessly browse the news. Now I can't do that. I guess, for now, I'm switching to Google. At least they care enough about their consumers to keep the same homepage. Also, if you'll notice, I've already changed my email provider to gmail. I hope you're prepared to lost a lot of money.

"If something's not broken no need to fix it", bring back the old Homepage.
And FIRE the 'genius' that was paying the person that came up with this NEW POS Homepage.
No wonder MY shares in Yahoo are in the TOILET, should have sold when BABA went public.
So sick of this. -

Whose ever idea this was is not very bright. Many people are disappointed and annoyed at the new site. Most of us have been using this site for years and were pretty content with the way it was structured. Stop trying to be innovative and copy other websites. Give people what they want. Let us choose which page we like. Perhaps it may appeal to younger generations, but not everyone is a teenager.

Yahoo needs to give people the option to switch. There are many sites out there that are formatted this way. I liked it when you could scroll from left to write and see different things I would find interesting. This is an awful idea.

I am soooo unhappy with the new homepage. I agree with so many others. Yahoo was my go-to news page but now I too am looking for my news on other sites.

Agree word for word the poster below:
'Yeah, I agree with everyone else, extremely annoying and I'm currently looking for another news provider. I liked being able to read a brief description of the story and decide whether I want to read the full article or not.
Maybe this move is set up to get more article hits because people have to blindly open the story to determine if it's even worth their time to read it all. Bring back the yahoo everyone loves or I'm jumping ship as well, no more numbers for you guys from me!" -

I agree! This change is horrible! I no longer have the finance to see the stocks. The news articles are no longer able to be scrolled through, you have to click each article to see it. The whole format is horrible and I will be looking for another homepage as there is no way to customize this to add what I want instead of what you want.

I don't like the new Yahoo homepage at all! When I click on read more in a article it takes me to another website the article is on. I like the Yahoo Classic homepage! Please go back to using the Yahoo Classic homepage because it easier for me to navigate.

This is BS for having to scroll down for the stories, much better using the side scroll for top stories, Put it back the old way, it is not an improvment in current form.

The new home page is enjoying I can't directly access my, my yahoo, and cannot access my comments. On top of that the comics are gone.
I have ben using Yahoo for 10 years and though it would be a major pain I am considering changing services at this point. -

I think they tried this junk a year or so ago and it caused the same uproar. I guess they thought things would be different this time. Yeah, I agree with everyone else, extremely annoying and I'm currently looking for another news provider. I liked being able to read a brief description of the story and decide whether I want to read the full article or not.

I must really agree with most of the other people in this thread. I far preferred the old one with the scrolling news stories. I have had Yahoo.com as my homepage for years. I understand you may be trying different things over the next few days. I will see what happens. Maybe one of the new layouts will be ok for me. If not, I will be changing my homepage, and there won't be much reason to visit Yahoo.com anymore. I heard that the change might have been installed to have the pc interface more similar to a mobile interface. Maybe that lowers your developer costs, but the 2 interfaces are noticeably different, and to shoehorn a mobile interface into a pc interface seems a bad choice to me.
