Elephant gestation lasts about 2 years. Interbirth intervals are about 4-5 years! As a rule there is just one calf and very saldom - 2 are born. Elephant reproduction cycle is very long! Please, ban ivory trade!!! Otherwise the world may loss these very intelligent and unique animals! Thank you in advance for your understanding!

Get real news without all the biased **** you publish. if it says yahoo news it used to bring me in....now I won't open it because it is so biased and fake. Get real reporters and quit having a bias if you are real reporters then truth matters.... we want truth not biased lies for news. hello google and choice...maybe to keep followers you allow us the readers to just choose the sources for news...so sad after 20 yrs of yahoo that i'm saying goodbye.

You have really dumbed-down Yahoo. I am seriously thinking about jumping ship. I actually opened a Gmail account and transferred all of my emails there. Here are the reasons:
Your ads are almost all spam that none of us want. Stop the click-bait ads.
Your news content is chosen poorly, much of it is National Enquirer level psuedo-news. If it says "jaw-dropping" it's your first clue to drop it. Also the editing on these stories is horrible. They are riddled with typos.
No one wants to click three times just to read a news article. Then when you finally get to the destination, you can't comment on the article with your Yahoo profile.
The automatic videos need to go. Period. let us choose whether or not to watch a video.
It seems as if Yahoo is more worried about short-term profit that holding onto long-time loyal users.
