I finally cracked and had to upvote this today. I’ve always been addicted to typing yahoo.com whenever I open a new browser on my phone. Even if I don’t want to read the news it’s a habit. But since the comment bar has been added, basically forcing me to read highly inappropriate and inflammatory comments just to see the headlines, I’ve really been put off by Yahoo. This is something I had just about learned to accept until I visited today and saw a comment describing a #metoo victim as what is the most disgraceful word I know, starting with a K instead of a C in order to skirt the censor that should have banned the comment. I’m going back to the google news page that I frequented several years ago. I’ll check back every couple weeks to see if this comment thing is ever fixed, but I will probably never make Yahoo my first stop again because I feel like they attempt to divide and provoke their users to get more traffic.

I agree! Don’t let the reactions be visible immediately. Other people post gross, inflammatory, or rude thoughts and yahoo features their unfiltered snark.

Please remove user comments from right below the headlines on the mobile home page! I don’t want to read the brash, negative, highly opinionated things people are saying, especially before I even read the article. It makes yahoo seem trashy...

The comments featured on the home page are disturbing! I believe everyone has a right to them but I shouldn’t be able to see them as soon as I click on yahoo.com! I will use google until this is resolved! FYI I see to many racially charged comments and well as sexist comments.

Whenever I go to Yahoo's main page on my mobile device under the top news stories it shows a preview of the comments. I do not like this. Most of the comments on Yahoo are horrible comments from horrible people. Please remove this feature. If I wanted to see the comments I would click on the comments.

The comments under the headlines on the homepage aren't necessary. They're inflammatory at best.

Anytime I view the mobile Yahoo homepage on my Samsung Galaxy Tab A, there is no search bar. It only shows the news headlines. Typically the search bar would be right above those news headlines. I tried to move the home page up to see if maybe I just needed to scroll to find it but I can't scroll any more.

Please remove the viewer comments that automatically pop up under the main news story at the top of the homepage. I prefer to be able to choose whether or not I want to read comments. Many are negative and I don't want to have to see them every time I visit the homepage.

As I try to read the article, a bar, containing text of the latest comment appears near the bottom of the page. This bar covers up up the content of the article I am trying to read. Best to remove it.
