    I want to be able to customize the news and stories I see on the home page where the news feeds are, such as mostly sports, see no political news, etc. Make this totally customizable.

    With no ability to select my content, Yahoo is the reason I go to Google for my News feed.

    Yes, it would be great to be able to set our preferences and have Yahoo abide by them.

    I agree. some sources are not anything I ever want to see.

    I am always worried about the harsh messages in my news feeds but I let those articles arrive. I still have many other chunks of news that I don't want but they seem to nearly overflow my main page. And now with Yahoo automatically streaming their lousy coverage of things I don't want to see, it is causing problems. I need a way to shut off useless news feeds and keep unnecessary articles from getting in the way.

    I want a way to turn off articles or adds that contain things I find disturbing in our feeds-- no dead kids, no rapes, no hurt animals.
