Make signing into my account less convoluted
I am deeply frustrated with the hoops I have to jump through now in order to sign in to my Yahoo! account from a desktop computer.
I few months ago, I was no longer able to sync my Yahoo! accounts with my Moto phone which uses Google. I was seemingly railroaded into getting the Yahoo! mail app on my phone. I greatly preferred being able to access all of my email accounts through one app on my phone but now that's is not possible thanks to your company.
Now that I'm using the Yahoo! app on my phone, sometimes I'm not notified of emails, and for the second time now, I've had to have my phone with me when trying to log in to my account from a desktop computer because Yahoo! requires that I provide additional verification through a second device or separate email account in order to log in to my mail. I find this to be convoluted, and absolutely ridiculous. I should be able to sign into my account from a desktop machine without multiple verification methods or keys. You'd think I was trying to access the FBI's internal systems or something - only I bet the FBI has a much more streamlined, single interface sign in process.
Your email app is inconvenient and I feel forced to use it. It doesn't function well, and I don't have confidence in your security because of the multi-step, clunky, convoluted sign in process.
How many times and how many ways does a person have to verify their identity before you allow them ease of access to your products and platforms?? This is laughable and I completely detest your app and your website. If my business weren't wrapped up in it, I'd delete my account.
