Who is your editor???
Please hire me to be your content editor, seriously. I see SO many grammatical and structural errors in the sentences of your content, DAILY. You are a terrible example to young people with that, and add to the conjecture of "fake news." I could use more money, seriously let me help you out!

Our editors work very hard to catch mistakes before they hit the web. However, with all the content they regularly publish to the page, they do occasionally miss some. We are sorry that this one slipped through but we are very grateful to you for pointing it out to us.
Please report this article and future ones at corrections@verizonmedia.com

Before publishing a story please have your writers/reporters properly spell words. The story contain at the link listed misspells the word pajamas with a "y". There is no "y" in the word pajamas. There are numerous other articles with misspellings like this on a daily basis.
And no it shouldn't be our jobs as readers to email Yahoo every time we see a misspelling/typo. There are just too many.

Even when the article itself is written in fairly standard English, the headline often contains egregious errors.

Good Afternoon,
I am semi retired and as such have time to read. I log on to my default homepage, Yahoo, everyday and read numerous articles. I am at a point in life where I do not have great concern regarding the subject matter but do wish it were scrutinized to a much greater degree. I have been patient with it since 1995 but recent errors were just to blatant to let pass. "Sceptic" instead of "skeptic". Today the sentence regarding the director of the Secret Service director. ( my repeating the word "director" is an attempt at humor. I will let you find the sentence.
As I mentioned, I am semi retired, have time and the proper background to help you. You spellcheck, whether automatic or manual, is not working. I will take on the task of checking your daily content and correcting your punctuation, grammar, and spelling errors. Old user will notice it immediately. Newer users will be impressed with the quality. The result is higher quality for your end users and a higher level of recognition amongst media partners and competitors.Sincerely,
Matt Winn
