You've done it again. You have merged my comment with one you INCORRECTLY closed because the "show less" option STILL DOES NOT WORK!!!
This is truly ridiculous. I am trying to communicate to you that a feature of your website does not work as intended and the only response you have is to merge my comments with an already closed thread. Don't close my comments. Don't merge this with an old, already closed thread. FIX THE SHOW LESS OPTION!!!
Hi,
Our Engineering team is looking into this. If you could let us know what about the “show less” option isn’t working we would appreciate it. Please provide specific publishers if possible.
Regards,
Homepage Support

The option to "see less of" does not actually work. I log into my account, click on the links to see less of, then refresh (forced refresh) Firefox 71.0(64bit) and I see the same ****, but now the little pop-up says "undo see less of". Either fix it or get rid of it. Gawd, I hate it when web sites are updated publicly and not properly tested before publishing.

Wow the so called Yahoo engineers cant read at all
This comment thread is about the show less not working not about how it STUPIDLY is programmed to show less of a publisher not a keyword. sheesh is Yahoo foolish even in the way they try to hide stuff from readers
-
Richard Bard commented
Every time keyword filtering is brought up, Yahoo responds with the fact they allow users to filter news stories based on publishers.
That is NOT keyword filtering. Most readers are ok with the sources of articles, but they want the choice to stop seeing articles based on certain topics or certain keywords.
Yahoo like most other media outlets, keep claiming they offer readers a choice, but that is incorrect.
Yahoo, please get back to your older ways of allowing readers to chose "please show less articles about keyword x and keyword y" like you used to. The only option you allow is :show less articles from publisher a and publisher b"

I click on "Not Interested" and an hour later, the same new source and the same article are back on Yahoo.com. What's the purpose of having "Not Interested" if it's not going work?

3 of the top 4 "news" stories on my page are from things I marked "not interested". is this a joke I'm not getting? Here's an idea- fix it.

I want to be able to totally block news organization which post lies such as fox news. I am tired of being forced to see them. they are not news

I bet no one actually goes and reads these . I have asked for years to able to control my news feed . They gave a button but it doesn't work . This is the last straw for me

You have a button to click what I am viewing . We all continue to see what we ask not to see for instance GQ, I click don't want to see it yet it's on my news page everyday

While logged in I keep getting Fox News videos that auto-play. I have blocked every one and asked not to see any more Fox News articles and they won't stop. In fact, it's one of the only auto-play videos that come up at all. It's like I have my settings set to get nothing but Fox News. Please make it stop.
There needs to be better controls for what comes through my news feed. The preferences are non existent and ineffective. It's very frustrating.

Give me the ability to filter the news sources on my screen. I click the "see less" button and the next day there are as many stories from the same publishers as the day before. I should be able to choose what news I want to receive.

Your option to opt out of certain news feeds on the home page is not woring properly as it is being ignored by the system and allowing them

I am pretty sure Yahoo's Engineering team isn't looking into anything.

What's the purpose on Yahoo.com of clicking "Not Interested In" when the same article and new source show up again 30 minutes later?

So totally sick of seeing things I said I never want to ever see again.
I wonder if a class action lawsuit might get your attention when it comes to actually NOT showing articles from publishers that we have told you we don't want to see, since hundreds of people are posting their disgust daily, and nothing changes. What do you think? Class action? Verizon boycott?
