Hi,
Our Engineering team is looking into this. If you could let us know what about the “show less” option isn’t working we would appreciate it. Please provide specific publishers if possible.

An error occurred while saving the comment Christopher commentedI DON'T CARE ABOUT NICK JONAS SHIRTLESS AND I DON'T CARE ABOUT BELLA THORNE BEING "PANSEXUAL" AND I DON'T CARE ABOUT MIRANDA LAMBERT IN A BIKINI TOP OR HER TOPLESS HUSBAND AND I DON'T CARE ABOUT WHO HANNAH BROWN BROKE UP WITH! FIX THE SHOW LESS OPTION!!
An error occurred while saving the comment Christopher commentedI DON'T WANT TO SEE DORA THE EXPLORER IN A SWIMSUIT AND I DON'T CARE WHAT CARDI B SAYS AND I DON'T CARE WHAT THE ANACONDA *** POSITION IS! I HAVE ASKED TO SEE LESS OF THESE ARTICLES AND I STILL SEE THEM EVERY TIME I LOOK AT MY FEED!! FIX THE SHOW LESS OPTION!!!
An error occurred while saving the comment Christopher commentedDoes it really take your engineering team over one month to "look into" this problem? Considering this isn't the first thread discussing this, have they ever looked into it?? Any chance you could respond to let us know WHEN this will actually be resolved? Who ever heard of support taking MONTHS to solve a problem, let alone "look into" it???
An error occurred while saving the comment Christopher commentedHow funny... I post a comment that repeats the words, "FIX THE SHOW LESS OPTION" and it gets deleted, yet EVERY TIME I GO TO YOUR SITE YOU SHOW ME THE SAME ARTICLES FROM THE SAME PUBLISHERS THAT I HAVE REPEATEDLY MARKED THAT I DO NOT WANT TO SEE. Anybody else see the irony here?
An error occurred while saving the comment Christopher commentedAny progress on this simple-to-fix error? Has anybody even investigated it yet? Here I am, still choosing to show less from the same publishers on the SAME articles, months and months and months in. Are these paid advertisers that you don't list as sponsored? Is that why you won't block them? Are you too incompetent to actually make a simple search feature work? FIX THE **** SHOW LESS FEATURE ALREADY!!!!!
An error occurred while saving the comment Christopher commentedAs I posted on May 7th...
"Just looking at the site now and the first five articles on my feed were from publishers that are on my list to be shown less. Two were from the same publisher! I don't care about articles from Who What Wear, or Elle, or Cosmo, or People, or Yahoo Lifestyle, or InStyle, or Seventeen, or PureWow, or Prevention, or Fatherly, or Entertainment Weekly, or Harper's Bazaar, or Good Morning America, or Marie Claire, or Glamour, or Vanity Fair, or ..."
This alone proves that you did not even read the comments in this thread before posting your nonsense "information requested." I'm going to guess this thread has two more months before you tell us you've fixed the problem and close it, and I can guarantee that the show less feature will still not work.
An error occurred while saving the comment Christopher commentedDo your engineers have a bit better understanding of the problem yet? Perhaps, after MONTHS of hearing these same complaints and at least twice closing threads about the problem, they can actually do something about FIXING the problem? As a programmer, I am certain the engineers can figure this one out. If any of them actually have a degree in computer science, they should be able to figure it out and have it fixed in under fifteen minutes.
An error occurred while saving the comment Christopher commentedHave your engineers not read any of the comments in this thread? Whenever publishers are placed on the show less list, those publishers seemingly show up in increased numbers at the top of the feed. Regardless of how many times the same articles from the same publishers are marked to show less, they show up just the same.
An error occurred while saving the comment Christopher commentedWell, yahoo, you have truly succeeded in failure now. The first TEN articles in my feed are all from publishers on my "see less" list. It's gotten to the point where I cannot find an article I WANT to read because of it.
An error occurred while saving the comment Christopher commentedI'm at my wit's end with this. The only thing I can think of doing is placing all the sites I enjoy seeing on my "see less" list. That way, they'll all show up at the top of my feed. I bet if I start to click on all the articles and publishers I don't want to see, they'll stop showing up as well...
An error occurred while saving the comment Christopher commentedThe first seven articles in my feed are from publishers on my "see less" list. Perhaps those of you at Yahoo are confused about the meaning of the word, "less." When those publishers are marked to be seen less often, it means I DO NOT WANT THREE ARTICLES FROM THAT PUBLISHER RIGHT AT THE TOP OF MY FEED.
An error occurred while saving the comment Christopher commentedSo here we are, another week later, after months of the same problem, and nothing is changed. You have said you have fixed the problem at least twice, both of which were completely untrue. I am positive you will leave this thread "under review" for a while longer, then go through the routine of asking users to send you proof of the same ads coming back by using twitter, then close this thread and say again that the problem is fixed without actually doing a thing to alter how the function works.
Christopher supported this idea ·An error occurred while saving the comment Christopher commentedSeven of the first ten articles in my feed are from publishers I have marked to show less, groups of three and two from the same publishers. This has been an issue since the "show less" option was introduced and you still have not done anything to fix it. This is the third thread dealing with this, after you closed the first two saying you fixed the problem. WHAT THE **** IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE??

An error occurred while saving the comment Christopher commentedRemember when we used to have the option to see articles only from select groups? One could omit "Entertainment" or "Sports" as entire categories. Now we cannot even see less from publishers, even if we select to see less from those publishers. I mean, we cannot even see less of THE SAME ARTICLE from a publisher, even if we choose to see less of that exact article. The see less option really has no effect.
An error occurred while saving the comment Christopher commentedSo what's the game now? Put this "under review" for a few weeks, only to do nothing to fix the problem, close this comment, and deem the situation resolved again?

That's it. I'm done. Yahoo is no longer my home page. I will no longer be visiting the main site. Good bye.
