Make it possible to change the location of one's mail server - i.e., back to a US server
It was once possible to change the location of one's Yahoo Mail server in Yahoo Mail settings. I did this many years ago - switching from a US server to a Singapore server. Within a year or two, my need for being on a Singapore server went away, so I wanted to switch back to a US server; but discovered that this was no longer possible for an end-user (Settings options had been modified). I've spoken with Yahoo customer service to request the change, but the request was denied and I was told that there was really no difference. This, I think, is simply not true... I've observed serious latency issues on numerous occasions. I know that I could get a new Yahoo account on a US server, but this would mean changing my Yahoo email address. Might as well just move to Gmail.
