There are a lot of questions around the virus vaccines right now but a general inquiry
that keeps coming up for me is this Operation Warp Speed is mentioned time and time again. It was Trumps answer to doing nothing about the virus so he threw billions at some developers if they came up with a vaccine, I guess. MY QUESTION, Pfizer didn't take the money but several others did. How much influence did the money have on the companies who were trying to find a vaccine? Pfizer was the first to enlist the Emergency approval from the FDA, right? Didn't
Trump's money incentive meant to put the United States first in line to get the vaccine and had nothing to do with being a prize for the development of a vaccine? I think now Trump is trying to make it look
like he had something to do with the development of a vaccine when
actually the only effect Trump's WARP deal was only to shove every
one else out of line to get it - Mr. Humanitarian, right? Please come
clean on this-this was just another BULLYing ploy by Trump. Let's face
it, whoever gets a vaccine approved by the FDA will make a bunch of
money regardless of being tossed these billions by Trump. Just the reward of developing a vaccine in this pandemic will be a given to
whoever does it. It is so disturbing to imply that the only reason these
companies were in the group to develop a vaccine was because of
Trump's throwing billions of dollars at them. I do not think that had any to do with it at all. I think this country should come forward and agree that everyone in the world should be in line for the vaccine not just the
United States. This country needs to stop acting like they are king of
the mountain. It is disgusting.
