Your disabling of comments on this post are not acceptable. You allow a post to be put up that is clearly racist, her comments are racist. And people, many people, have clearly identified her comments as racist. She cannot attribute comments or actions of individuals to and entire race of people. Her actions are the exact description of racism, this is the definition of racism.
Then when the comments are removed, the note says that you want to provide a safe place for people to comment. Well, what you are doing is allowing her a safe place to make her racist statements. How is that a good solution?
No...not all white men are as she describes. If you are not allowing people to comment on her ideas, then you should pull the article completely and state why you are removing it.
What is safe and right about allowing her a platform to make these comments?
