It is ironic that this WHITE WOMEN wants this teacher/school to stop using this book
on her bias alone, that is so silly. Yes I guess she could take her kid out of
class while it is being read but what is she hiding from your kid. The true
experiences of this one Chinese youngster, it might open his eyes to how
some immigrants face this country and I am sure that her son will never
have that chance since so many things will be hidden from him. That is
the saddest part of this story. Because of his Mom's bias he still will not
have the chance to see the real America. That has been my biggest
complaint about our education system here, it is based on a pollyanna
unrealistic story and when do our kids get to see the real thing.?
