Let me first state that I am neither a Republican, nor a Democrat. I have voted for those from both parties and those who are from neither. With that said, I closed my account yesterday because your homepage, your "news" is atrocious and obvious. I want the truth. I don't want your opinion or your buzzwords like "toxic" and "problematic" every time something occurs that involves perceived race or gender. Every other article is about Trump. He isn't even in office. He can be a boorish individual, but I'm not going to turn my head from some positive things his administration did accomplish. Things you ignored or put a spin on. No one person or side of an issue is ever 100% wrong unless it would involve a totalitarian regime such as Nazi Germany. Do not compare America to that regime. Anyone with half a brain would know that they're not even close. It's an insult to those who died during that time to say such things. Also, other countries in the world are guilty of far worse than our country. Do we need to make improvements? Of course. But your articles contradict themselves. If we lived in such a terrible country your articles wouldn't exist. No one's would. It would be lockstep with whoever is in office. Ragging on police officers when 99.9% of them are great people doesn't help anything. You look past the crimes of the perpetrators because "Hey, we hate cops!" Nevermind some are also minorities. So, where do you stand on that? When a Black man says something you don't agree with you make it seem as though he should be disregarded. White liberals telling someone how to think. That doesn't seem "problematic" at all. Maybe he is a Republican or an Independent because he doesn't like a policy that has zero to do with race. Outlets like yours scramble for excuses about race and gender for anything, and it dumbs down actual examples of racism. I've worked with racists, and I've called them out and reported them. I was ostracized for it. It's not just about which party you fall in with. It's about common decency. Using it as a crutch for news does no one any good. I don't expect one thing to change on this platform, but I just thought I'd let you know why I deleted my account. I voted for Hilary and I voted for Jorgensen. You don't get to scream about wearing masks when people go to football games or other events, but then be okay with rallies and protests. Figure it out.
