I think that Dave Chappell has been more than gracious about this brouhaha about
his performance. I am happy that you made the decision that you have.
I do not understand this recent obsession with the transgender people
and their demands that all these things should be changed. I realize that
I do not have a 100% understanding about what the difference is between the transgender person and the same person who might be gay or lesbian. We are such a co-dependant country I think we have
created a monster by indulging one thing against another. I have written a number of comments about this and with every one having their own group defending their group, it is becoming an overwhelming
task to keep up with who we might offend. Somewhere along the line
we, as a country, have to decide where we are willing to go with this offending line and move out into the world with thicker skins abd where
we are willing to take it on the chin, because it is getting sillier by the
moment. Good luck, Dave. We have to fight for the loss of creativity.
