The people who are against the theater at Dave's school being named after him shows
that everything that is being said about his country is true. We are racist
and bigots because this man that we are talking about is a talented actor
and entertainer. He is funny and that is extremely hard to acheive in this
country right now. When the country that I live in with the number of folks
acting the way that they are acting, it is not funny at all, it makes me sick to my stomach that people are trying to dictate what another is
saying instead of getting off your lazy ***** and leaving the theater.
You have a choice that you are not happy enough with your own freedom but you do not want any one to enjoy his humor. That is not a
democracy and it is wrong to try and do it in a democracy. It seems to
me that one group that is trying to get Dave banned from the school
is the trans community. I am not certain of that term because I am not
familiar with this. I am a woman and there is so many jokes and what
nots told about women but there are just as many told about men I guess.so I am sure there are trans people who find some of his work
funny too so this keeps on getting less and less of an issue and I do
believe that this whole thing should be dismissed and name the theater
after Dave and be glad that someone like Dave is paying attention to
you and your woes. You know this country took a lot of time to find a
good place in the acceptance of gay folks so I do not know what is driving this truck right now. To me it seems that this what you call trans
is the same as gay, isn't it? Is the only difference is trans are taking the
step beyond by taking hormones and surgeries. Is that it? There is not
a thing wrong with educating people so when you ban people for talking about peoples differences you are shutting down the education of what this issue is really about. That is an abuse of the people who
want to learn. That is one large issue with our education systems today. More education-less confusion and fearto accept the differences.
