TAKE AWAY McCONNELL'S TYPICAL NASTINESS TOWARDS THE PRESIDENT
and I agree with McConnell on the student issue forgiveness. There are
more reasons not to, and really only one plus and that is to the people
who do not pay their bills. I do not like that. I know it would be a burden
but I feel that these loans need to be reviewed *** for tat and put these
people on a reasonable pay back. If this would cost too much money
with not much return, why not bundle them up and sell them to individual lenders at a discount and they can work our payment schedules. That probably makes more sense than anything else. The
issue would be out of our hair and the tax payers would be out a much
smaller portion of the trillions we are looking at now. It would be a
win-win . It is not good for people to be let go on their promises of
a repay, it is not a character builder. They might just turn around and
borrow more money and not pay that back. This is a horrible thing to
start this avalanche of people and building this country with a strong
financial ethic.
