Id like to ask where, where, where Mr. Serwer gets $5.00/Gallon Gas?? This is a grossly unrealistic Average. His $5.00/Gallon is
currently $6.00/Gallon here in Chicago. It is well over $6.00/Gallon on the West Coast, think Los Angeles!!! Assuming he is in New Yuk City its at least $6.00/Gallon.
Im really curious what brand of Pot Mr. Serwer and Mr. Croll are smoking because this is the only way imaginable that you get to $5.00/Gallon Gasoline.
Further Mr. Serwer suggests as an alternative of his 3 to dealing with this, buying a MuskMobile. He talks about Price Points!! Maybe if he is earning $250,000/Year he can afford to plunk down $55,000 for a MuskMobile, but most middle, and particularly low income people cant pull $55,000 out of thin air for a brand new MuskMobile that gets 150
miles and goes clunk with you struggling to find a charging station!!!
When People like Mr. Serwer talk $5,oo/Gallon for gas, I add $1.00 to that and say $6.00 !!!!!!!!!!!
If they think were going to have $6.00/Gallon gas by the end of the
summer, here in Chicago I say its $7.00/Gallon and in LA it will be over $7.00/Gallon!!!!!!!!!!
And I will stay home, and not travel, go shopping that much, and fill my tank 1/4 to to top it off, and keep it no less than down 1/4 from full
all the time to avoid major league sticker shock!!!!!!!!
And when you multiply people like me, staying home, not shopping,
not traveling, by thousands, even millions for the entire country, you
have a recession, like you had in late 1974 and all of 1975 as a result of the 1973 Arab, particularly Saudi, Oil Embargo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ive already added my comment, namely critiquing Andy Serwer's article suggesting we have $5.00/Gallon Gas, which in reality is $6.00/Gallon in Chicago and over $6.00/Gallon in LA,
and suggesting he is either smoking Panama Red or some other variety of high octane
