how, and why, does YAHOO allow "ads" that are Trojan Traps?
1/11/24: There was an ad posted on the Yahoo home page stated:
25 people who died from drinking.
Like an idiot I clocked on it and was met with a very loud website warning that a Trojan had taken over my computer and I had to call a number to get control back. They made it look like a Microsoft message. It warned me to not try and turn off my computer. I went into the TASK MANAGER and shut it down from there..
I restarted and ran my MALWAREBYTES anti-malware program and there was ZERO malware, virus, or trojan to be found.
DON'T CLICK ON ANY YAHOO ADS ON THE HOME PAGE. PERIOD.
