The new format sucks!!!!!! If I can't switch back I will find a new homepage.
Allow the customers to switch back. There is not one post here or on the net that says that someone likes the new format

Thank you for the feedback! We do have an option to revert back to the previous version. At the top of the page you should see a purple banner. Within that banner you would need to click on "Old Version" or you'll see an option saying return to yahoo.com. For additional support please visit help.yahoo.com

MY yahoo home page is replaced with a bunch of garbage links. No way to get to my stock list or news I care about. If this is permanent I have to find another home page.

Click on "my Yahoo"... nope. Yahoo.com
Try again... nope
Somebody, in your new page transition team has redirected all "my yahoo" requests to your main page.
This will not go over well

Agree the new format deletes my news sites, my weather sites and my portfolio. It essentially tells me to go somewhere else to have an all in one page. Please revert back to original format.

Old format, I could have the articlesI was interested. This might be more to your newer users, but older users, think it sucks. Thanks Yahoo for screwing up one the best front ends. Newer is not better.
If you allow customizable features, Yahoo might have something. Now its just in the crapper and your site designers are full of themselves. -

No more my.yahoo.com, no more me having anything to do with yahoo!

Will we be able format the layout under the new platform like we can/could with my.yahoo? If not, I'm gone.
- Your highly annoying "trending" nonsense is what YOU designate, not what your users designate, so it is irrelevant.- Who the **** cares about astrology on their home page, maybe a few but not the majority. Weekly newsletter, who the **** cares! The yodel, again, who the **** cares! Irrelevant, irrelevant and irrelevant!
Yahoo keeps taking away what is useful and wanted, replacing it what is useless and irrelevant.

As a consultant in Customer Experience, your customer base uses Yahoo for two things:
1) Free email service
2) RSS feeds.
They do this, you get ad revenue.
In this new format, it appears that you have destroyed one of those two pillars. And Yahoo's email service (dated and featureless as it is) is insufficient to keep your base.
No one needs the search algorithm in an AI world.
Without RSS feeds you will any lose loyalty you still have.
As Venture capitalists (Appolo Global, right?) you should know this. and if you don't then your $5Billion acquisition may go sour quickly.
To announce the change, without doing yoru dilligence in this matter will be tragic. -

New site sucks. Too jumbled, to much useless info, too many photos and not enough actual information. I'll be looking for a new opening page for my computer's internet connection.

If you HAVE to have the new layout design, I should be able to select the types of feeds I want on the new layout. I DON'T CARE about sports or celebrities or leisure activities or any of that sort of garbage. I wanted the science and investing activities and my horoscope (mostly for a laugh) on my home page for a reason. Now it's all buried in a bunch of junk that I couldn't give two s#!ts about.

I have been using my yahoo as my home page for decades. This new format is atrocious!!!!! Please go back to the old format where I had things set up the way I liked to access the information that was relevant to me in a format I set up for ME...

The new format was awful....it made me not want to go to Yahoo which I have always used as my homepage and for news. The classic design was great and worked well. Please, please I beg you .....don't change it!!!

I agree with everyone here. The new homepage is awful. It too plain, not customizable and does not draw my attention to it, in fact I want to get off of it as soon as I get to it. There was no thought in the design of it. If there was I am not sure who would have signed off on it. The bare minimum it needs to be customizable. I want the articles of interest for me up front and center. I should not have to search through the whole page or menus to get to my interests. This lack of this feature will not draw people to wanting to use it. I know I won't. In fact I will look for another homepage to set as my default. I have been a MyYahoo user since I started using a computer regularly and that is a very long time. I truly hope you take these comments to heart and make big changes in order to retain your current user base.

Obviously Yahoo has downgraded the utility of the website/page in order to try get users to pay up for a premium service. It's a free country, so I will likely be going elsewhere unless the utility of the original My.Yahoo page is maintained.
Thanks for nothing.

New format is terrible. I even called Yahoo tech support and was told nothing could be done about it. So, just suck it up and use it? Unsatisfactory response for a tech support. Had something similar with the Financial Yahoo page a while back. Fortunately Yahoo put a link at bottom of page to return to Classic Finance page format. Why can't Yahoo do same for the homepage?

Agreed. I am entirely uninterested in what other people think is trending this week. It now looks like every other legacy website landing page.
I don't care about celebrities, sports, bus crashes in India, horoscopes, or reality TV. If I cannot customize my content there is no reason to be on Yahoo.
