The original email that I created my account with cannot be removed as a verification account EVEN though it is compromised.
I have a serious security concern regarding my yahoo mail account. The original email that I created my account with 14 years ago cannot be removed as a a verification account. That email account has been compromised, and should not be a way into my yahoo account. The justification from Yahoo is unacceptable "This is your Yahoo account username, so it can't be removed." This should not automatically grant that old email account authority to be used in 2-factor authentication. I alerted Yahoo of this last year and nothing has been done.
