I’ve been using your site for over 20 years. Daily. Multiple times a day. It used to be clean, simple, and reliable. Now it’s a mess.

Your ad situation has gone from reasonable to flat-out unbearable. I get that companies need ads to survive, but you’ve crossed into territory I only expect from sketchy sites. Ads piled on ads, auto-playing garbage, pop-ups, endless scripts running in the background-it's out of control.

On my phone, Yahoo now lags so badly it barely responds. On my Fire TV sticks, it’s even worse. The ads freeze the entire device and make it run hot. Not “warm.” I’m talking dangerously hot-hot enough that I have to shut the Firestick off to keep it from cooking itself. And this isn’t a one-off issue. It happens on multiple Firesticks, across different TVs, on different connections. The common denominator is your bloated, ad-stuffed website.

You’re driving away long-time loyal users with this nonsense. Burning extra data, extra energy, and extra device load just to run excessive ads is counterproductive. You’re losing the people who actually stuck around for decades.

One email from one customer probably won’t mean much to you, but here it is anyway: I’m about done. I’m looking for a new homepage-something that doesn’t punish me for trying to check the news.

You used to be great. I don’t know what happened, but this isn’t it.

One more thing: this new “streak counter” pop-up is pointless and disruptive. I don’t need a pop-up freezing the page just to tell me how many days in a row I visited Yahoo. It gets in the way, slows things down, and adds nothing. Rethink it.
