Unclosable Apple Ad
The fact that I cannot close that Apple ad is extremely annoying and has now officially pushed me away from Yahoo! permanently.

Protest at every Apple store and do not ever recommend Yahoo for anything...........they have got to learn and we are the best way.

IT SUCKS TO HAVE TO WAIT FOR THE APPLE APP TO OPEN YAHOO IT TAKES TOO LONG ALREADY TO OPEN THE SITE AS IT IS AND JUST HAVING TO LOOK AT IT EVERY TIME MAKES ME WANT TO NEVER BUY ANY PRODUCT WITH APPLE ON IT

sure would be nice to close this ad that takes up 40% of the yahoo page (especially since we can close ads from just about any other company)......but as we all can guess Apple is probably paying Yahoo a whole lot more money than all of us combined so the little people lose out. Hey Yahoo.....I refuse to buy apple products of any sort because of their **** ego. Want me to move to google instead of using your site?

All of the other "large ads" can be closed to get rid of the annoyance, why can't we get this with the stupid apple ads.

if the ads that i cannot close are not removed or have a way i can close them I will leave yahoo it will be sad yahoo is the only service I have ever used I have always liked it apple ads take up half of the page and take too long to load I hope you fix the problem

Agreed! This is awful! And getting worse. The Apple ads now take up almost 1/2 of my screen. Hate it. Fix this yahoo or I'm gone forever.

Because of the half page Apple ad that COVERS the homepage, I am now BOYCOTTING all Apple products and Yahoo.

Apple can't sell their USELESS, TINY little piece of garbage iFLOP watch, so they have to ANNOY MILLIONS of users with their ads. This SMELLS of desperation on the part of Apple AND Yahoo for ACCEPTING payment for this intrusion.

The Apple ads that can't be closed are the corporate equivalent of rude SHOUTING - like texting in CAPS ...intrusive, arrogant and feels like a form of "marketing bullying"... its a good way to lose respect and customers. Wasted enough time obsessing about this offence... going to Google to get some work done.

I agree. Please stop using aggressive advertising, and stop allowing auto-open adds that take up half the home page when open, and have no close button. If I am interested in an add, I will click and open it. forcing me to watch an add by auto-open and/or not being able to close it DOES NOT ENCOURAGE ME TO BUY YOUR PRODUCT; RATHER THE OPPOSITE!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, please stop it completely! There is no way to close it! Actually, stop the entire practice of pop-up ads on our homepage...or at least give us the option of turning off this feature!!!!
