Answers.com sponsored ads are loaded with viruses. I used to love Yahoo news, now I hate it.
Yahoo news is getting worse by the day. I understand Yahoo needs to turn more profits, but linking to sites like Answers.com is just going to **** people off, not line your pockets.

I totally agree about those Apple ads. Those and others --- which seem to be growing exponentially --- are making Yahoo less and less pleasant. I've been using Yahoo as my homepage since the 1990s but like many I'm paying by the gigabtye for high-speed service and am getting tired of paying to download unwanted ads and all those damned videos that load and run automatically.
Your biggest problem, Yahoo? You don't seem to care about your loyal users!

I have begun looking for another home page primarily because of the news feed is full of sponsored garbage. Tricking your readers to click on these stupid ads is so frustrating. All they go to is a useless page that has a ton more ads. Sorry Yahoo, but I have to go.

you yahoos better listen cause you're losing readers big time. people don't want sponsored trash, it makes you look like a tabloid. Also stop with the brainjet ads, some of them are really offensive. Example "inappropriate family photos". Stop it!

Over the last 7 years, I have found very few articles worth reading in the YAHOO! News - it's nearly 100% hype and fan magazine and checkout lane magazine and .. financial scare tactics.. no real news.

I agree with all comments. I have now made MSN.com my home page. With the government taking away our constitutional right of choice more and more (Mammy Obammy Care for one) I refuse to view Yahoo any more because I cannot choose to delete or minimize their ads. This is my last comment because I have deleted Yahoo from my favorites and I'm discontinuing my Yahoo email. I understand an apple a day **** but now it's ****. Apple ****. You lost another viewer. Yahoo is now boohoo. Cry a river Yahoo. You know where to stick your apple

I have deleted you as my browser of choice. It is so nice that you guys sold out to Apple! I am glad they are paying you big bucks to annoy your users. I am tired of Apple and their ads that can't be closed. I will not buy an Apple product because of these nonclosable ads.

I now am boycotting Apple products. Apple's power and force over Yahoo is shameful!

If you don't want me to use yahoo as my browser, just tell me. I pay for internet service. This is just like cable tv.
When it started in the seventies, they advertised pay TV will end commercials. What a load. Now they get the advertising and we have to pay to get 125 channels of shopping network and other garbage. -

Is Apple so arrogant that we cannot close their ad? This adds to my reasons for never buying Apple products.

I hate the Apple ads. They take up too much space and the fact that you can't close them are just another illustration of their arrogance. Waste of my time. I don't care if they pay a billion dollars ... I hope you get rid of that option. Yahoo sells out instead of caring about their users ... I don't want to buy Apple ... I just like them (and Yahoo) LESS.

Interesting that Apple ads can't be closed, everything else can be. What premium are they paying to make that happen? I don't, and won't, own Apple products, this ad is NOT convincing me otherwise, and is definitely discouraging me from Apple and Yahoo services. But hey, keep it up. You are still getting money, right Yahoo. If you are going to be a **********, you might as well get as much as you can for it.
