Please allow us to block specific news providers from our news feed.
When you click "Less like this" have one of the options be the name of who psoted it instead of just key words.

Hi,
Thank you for your feedback on this. Our product team has added a feature that will allow you to see less of the publishers that you don’t want to see on your Yahoo Homepage Newsfeed. The steps to do so can be found here: https://help.yahoo.com/kb/homepage/sln29105.html

I would definitely like to have the ability to block specific news providers. Too many providers spout their beliefs over and over. That is not news, it's a blog. I don't want these blocking my news feed. I'm beginning to use Google more and more for my news because Yahoo does not offer the option of blocking news providers.

There are news providers constantly ****** by Yahoo that are nothing but editorialized trash. Often the header is a hook just to get you to click on the feature. We should be able to make a selection deleting these from our news feed. If I wanted to read such trash, I'd stop by the checkout at my grocery store and pick it up there.

It's best to ignore yahoo news, period. You don't have to read their broken news feed. There are other news sources on the internet. Using yahoo mail does not obligate you to read the **** the call news.

I am at the end of my rope on this.. I have finally seen the very last yahoo news page I ever want to see. I tried. I made a reasonalbe request here and yahoo has chosen to do nothing for how long now? over a year. so I will never visit yahoo news again. Yahoo you are too late.

I like this idea a lot. Daily Beast, HuffPo, Salon, etc. should all be listed among the tags for the 'less like this' feature.
While they are at it, they should add some better tags for identifying stuff I don't want to see: 'opinion pieces', 'restaurant receipts', 'celeb gossip', 'video content', 'TV shows', etc.

AFP and Huffington post would be gone in a heartbeat. Yes, do this.

I do NOT care to read anything from the Huffington Post...or Salon...or any other far-left source where the writers habitually denigrate and vilify conservatives "for the **** of it." "Journalistic integrity" is a foreign concept to these outlets; and they never publish a retraction if they are proven to be disingenuous or just plain wrong. YahooNews seriously tarnishes its image by linking to this tripe.

I have requested MULTIPLE times not to have to see Fifty Shades of Glorified Abusive Relationship and I still see it on my feed.
This is not okay.

in general More options under 'less like this' I could go 100 Years never seeing another article about the Kardashian/Jenner Clan, yet on Yahoo I can't go 10 stories some days... how is it with SO Many articles about them None of them off a 'Less like this' option of reducing them?
I was in reading the 'Spike Eastwood Jenner Joke' story and I swear "RNC convention" was an Option by way of Clint's Chair conversation the other Year, But "Jenner" was not... How is something 3? years old and tangential going to streamline my Feed while 1 of the 3 Key players in the story isn't even an option?

Yes! You have a "fewer like this" option, but I'd like to completely block EVERYTHING that emerges from the Huffington Post.
