why are you translating user names in profile settings. this result in pretty crazy names
why are you translating user names in profile settings. this result in pretty crazy names. my last name for example is 'former'. this is a name of couse but translated to dutch it becomes 'voormalig' stictly speaking correct but since it is a name it makes no sence. no body ever told you you cant translate names?

We completed the investigation about this issue and determined that the only way to have your name translated on our pages is through your browser.
You can disable auto-translate with the following steps:

It would be nice if you could scroll through to read an article without the ads moving around and getting in your way, good god
Ad bug, the ads from the right now move over to the left and you can't make them move to see the actual content on the page. Is this a bug? Can you fix it?
Thank you again for reporting this issue, our Engineers have resolved the issue and you should no longer see ads covering article content.

Stop with the "Yahoo is better with the app" pop up that freezes my screen!!! I ALREADY HAVE THE APP, for starters!!
What GENIUS deployed this half page pop up add for your terrible news app that FREEZES THE WHOLE **** PAGE???? You can't kill it, if you refresh it goes back to the main page, it's a complete dead end!! What BRILLIANT PERSON came up with that???

Why does YAHOO not allow us to see content because the ADS COVER 1/3 OF THE PAGE???
Suddenly, ADS cover the lower-left 1/3 of the entire viewing area!
Do you not want us (the patrons/consumers) to actually SEE THE CONTENT? Then, why provide the stories? -
Video previews on the right side jump to the left when scrolling.

Your new format for the Yahoo home page is terrible, the way it is now its hard to close a news story if the x is under the banner up top.

Stop continuous paopup about "Make Yahoo Your Home Page', and "Stay On Top Of Breaking News".
Can you please take down the Popups for Breaking News and Make Yahoo Your Home Page? They're annoying after several months of seeing them. First, Yahoo IS my home page. Second, I already read the top stories of that day. Take this stuff down! We don't need them anymore. You guys clog up the works with all this unnecessary code and junk.

Get rid of the limit on publishers that can be blocked on the homepage.
Just getting rid of the articles on what color of underwear princess Dipshit was wearing and articles of what celebrity ****** take up the entire list. There's no room to get rid of articles of what hairstyle I should get or what dress would really show off my **. I'm a guy. I don't care about any of that *. All it does is take up space that could be occupied by actual news.

How do I get HuffPost and Newsweek articles off my news feed? These people are insane.
How do I get rid of this insane ranting from these sites? There is no way to "dislike" anything, just "Like" it. Half your content on the newsfeed is this ranting. Do they pay you for this?
I like seeing diverse viewpoints, but they are ridiculous. At least on Facebook you can say "Don't show posts from this site".

Stop the video auto play!!!!!!!!
Stop auto playing videos!!!! I work around other people and it is a pain ********** to have to stop videos from playing every time I click on a news article!!! If I want to watch the video, I will press "play" button, I don't need you guys to auto play it!!!

Why are most of your news feeds from HuffPo? This is not a credible source of news. It's the leftist version of the National Enquirer.
Please allow users to control the news feed sources by deleting sources they find to be slanted or unreliable.

Give your End User the Ability to Control News Feeds!
Give your end user, and your CUSTOMER, the ability to manage and control their news feed. Let us delete or block news feeds we don't want to see. If I don't want to get news from Huffington Post or The Daily Beast or Fox News, I should be able to block them and control that news feed to my home page.
