Wondering why there are inconsistencies with team names. For example...
W. Michigan but East. Michigan
S. Dakota St. but N. Dak. St.
N. Carolina but South CarolinaIf I go through conference by conference, these are the ones I would update

Return the basketball scoring for each team and player to the way it was.
My idea is simple. go back to the way you showed team scores and percentages in basketball. What you have just done defies any kind of common sense.You have made almost impossible to follow the scoring for each player. It is a mess. Whoever was in control of this must be sadistic and hate basketball. It is absolutely ridiculous. I beg you to go back to the way it was. Simple, clean, and easy to read.

The new sports match game summaries are awful
The new yahoo sports format for the major sports needs to be eliminated. I can only see one team at a time on a page. I like to see the stats of both teams together. The new NFL format doesn't even show the time of the scores! What you show is close to useless without that simple data. Some of the pages like NCAAF tonight haven't been switched...yet. Please keep the old format.

Fix/increase the font size on section headers
The font size for section headings in an article is frequently much smaller than the other text. This makes it harder to recognize the different sections. It shouldn’t be hard to fix. It’s not rocket science.

These box score need work. I'm having to go elsewhere to get complete and accurate information. I cannot trust what you are now showing. The baseball box scores do not have totals on the bottom row?! This is messy

Fantasy football defense and Stat corrections
Dear Yahoo Fantasy Sports Team,
In what world should a defense/special teams unit be rewarded for that sequence? The Arizona D/ST received +2 points for an interception, yet no negative adjustment for fumbling the ball and allowing a touchdown on the same play.
The entire purpose of the defensive scoring rule — not penalizing a defense for a pick-six or scoop-and-score — is to prevent unfair punishment when the offense makes a mistake. But in this case, it was the defense itself that committed the blunder.

Items that count towards "points allowed" are:
-All FGs scored by opponent
-All PATs (extra points and 2-PT conversions)
-All TDs scored against defense or special teams (including fake punts / field goals / returns from kickoff, punts, blocked punts, and muffed catches / fumbles during kickoffs and punts)
Items that do not count towards "points allowed" are:
-Safeties (Including Safeties on defensive or special teams plays)
-TD returns from Interceptions, blocked field goals, or all fumble returns that result in TDs (except on kickoffs and punts)
-Defensive two-point conversion returns
Once the ball was intercepted on the play, Arizona was considered an offensive team that turned the ball over for a score.

If a player is O-Out for that contest, you should be able to place the player on the IR so you can pick up another free agent. Handicapping the league by not allowing the manager to place him on the IR ....
Thank you for reaching out regarding not being able to place players listed as Out in the IR spot. Players must be listed as IR in order to be placed in the IR spot in fantasy hockey. They are designated as IR once they are officially placed on the IR by their respective teams in real life. If your league is a private league, there is the IR+ position that can be added and used. This is used for players with the IR, DTD, or Out designations.

Zach Ertz
In our fantasy league Ertz was NOT on any questionable or injury status this week. He did not play and got zero pts.
It would have been nice to KNOW that he was not playing so he could be replace on our rosters.
What was the problem with Yahoo not reporting Ertz status!?!Thank you for reaching out regarding Zach Ertz's injury status in week 5. Ertz did not have an injury status because he actually played in the game. He did not have any receptions or yards, but he did play in the game.

Please change back the football stats page to show both teams at once.
Like many other users are voicing , please change the stats of the football games to see both sides at once. The new look is NOT better. Or at least give up the option to pick which one we want to use. To have to flip back from team to team is NOT helpful. For the love of GOD. Posting home teams on the bottom in all sports to indicate home team.

standard practice is to post the home team on bottom yahoo should conform otherwise they are confusing people as to which team is playing at home
You raise a valid point about the potential confusion caused by Yahoo's choice to list the away teams at the bottom of their postseason brackets. Traditionally, the home team is listed at the bottom in many sports formats, including MLB, to clearly indicate which team is hosting the game.

Score Graphic
Update the men on base graphic to accurately show the base the players are on. Currently, you have 1st base on the left side of the graphic and going clockwise. On a real baseball field, first base is on the right side and goes counter clockwise. This is making it very hard to understand what base men are on and makes your reporting suspect.
