1. Chart drawings improvements.

   1. Drawings are useful but can get cluttered. It would be good to add a button to temporarily hide the drawings.
   2. Drawings get corrupted frequently such as the text being displayed outside the callout box. Sometimes can be fixed by clearing all the drawings but it would be good to fix the bug.
   3. When clearing cache/cookies, all the drawings are lost! The drawings are historical records and should not be allowed to be cleared.
   4. Drawings are not stored in cloud which means different devices I have cannot share the same drawings. Hope that the drawings can be sync across devices.
   5. Allow a button to undock the chart so that you can pan around the chart. Currently have to compress the chart and move left or right in order to see the Trendline callout box.
   6. Allow trendline callout box to flip up/down so that it can be read.

3. Mutual Fund Historical Pricing Chart & Pricing Date/Time

   Can the historical chart be updated to allow display of 1D and 5D time intervals? The shortest allowable time interval is 1M. I realize 1D will only have 2 points and the 5D will have only 6, but it makes it easy to see what the % change is over these time periods and compare the performance of different mutual funds and stocks.

   Another strange thing is the date/time of the quote the morning before markets open. Let's say the last quote from the previous trading day was 3/10 @ 8PM. The next day, before the market opens, it will say the last price quote is from 3/11 @ 8PM - a time point in the future! It could be corrected by simply continuing to reflect the 3/10 data.

   Comments shall be reinstated...you correspondents are less entertaining than you may think. Reporting itself is rather dull and comments do make me occasionally check what was in the article in the first place. Comments may be offensive at times but (see the reporting quality comment). If comments will not come back I will have to use google.

6. news notification

   1- Can you give us an option to receive an email whenever you publish a new stock market news?
   2- On the website, the stock market news is sorted based on the recent to the oldest. However, with the android yahoo finance app, the news sorting is chaos. They are not sorted based on the time they were published. Can you fix this?

   I have additional information about Chase for Ethan Wolff-Mann on his article on 'JP Morgan to shutter Chase Pay.' However I have been unable to locate any way to contact the author of an article by email or any other method.

8. Candlestick chart improvements

   I've tried so many apps in the last few months that would allow me to easily see quotes for my positions, show all of my portfolio across multiple brokers, and have excellent real-time candlestick chats. Yahoo! does a great job at the first two, but there is some improvement that could be made to candlestick charts (I use primarily on iOS on iPhone and iPad, so suggestions are for the apps). Here's a list of features that I think would make Yahoo! beat out any other competition with good charts (e.g. TradingView, Webull, TOS etc.)

   1. Allow to save chart timeframe. Every time I exit the advanced chart of a stock, and go to the chart for a new stock, the timeframe is re-set. I like seeing charts in 4h timeframe, and have to always select to do this on a new stock every time. I think on the web version however, this is not an issue, so I'm guessing it's fairly easily doable.

   2. For some reason, 1 and 4 h time frame candlestick charts are not updated real-time. All other timeframes I can see candlestick movement tick by tick, but for 1 h and 4 h timeframes, it's just doesn't update. I have to close the chart and come back to it again to see updated candlesticks.

   3. I use dark mode for the apps, and the background color to show extended hours is just horrendously dark. It needs be lightened up significantly.

11. I just paid for your premium package and wonder why. I want to be able to track book values and equity over 10 years.

    I’m trying to research some companies by tracking book and equity values over 10 years. I see in your financials table that if you scroll to the right you can see some past entries but not for the ones I need. You only get the current book and equity values.

    ABTC is a company that is meeting the soaring global demand for lithium-ion battery technology with a USA-made c...

    This company is embarking on being the go to recycling facility for lithium-ion batteries in the U.S. They are currently in the process of building a pilot plant in Fernley Nevada and have recently received a federal grant for lithium extraction. From all that I've read they look like a company we should be paying more attention to, however, there is very little media coverage and very little is known about this company. Perhaps it is because they are in the initial stages of starting operations, however, an American company trying to keep rare earth metals at home and part of a domestic supply chain is noteworthy.

    This could probably tie into the news about GM building a battery facility to manufacture batteries domestically. Someone would need to recycle those batteries and ABTC may be that someone.

    It would be nice to read about an American company that can help to untie the U.S. from foreign battery producers

13. Remove "flashing" stock price updates on left side of news articles

    I find the flashing price updates updates to the left of news articles highly annoying. The flashing price updates at the start of the article are sufficient and I can make them go away by scrolling into the story.

14. find index of a stock

    Google search does not produce a single website (on first page) that has the information I describe below. So, this would make a great addition to Yahoo - Finance.

    Given a ticker symbol, display the Market Index to which that ticker symbol is part of. For example, if I type AAPL, i should get a result back with ( SPX, NDX, DJI, DJA, OEX, S5inft). This is incredibly useful for small cap stocks (like Russell 2000) which are not discussed much on web and hence information is lacking on those ticker symbols. Even finding the index of midcap stocks proved to be more difficult than i expected in a simple web search. So, add this functionality to Yahoo->Finance home page ( even if that happens to be at the bottom of the page). A google search like "Map ticker symbol to stock index" should lead to yahoo finance, with such a functionality because none exists right now in search results.
