  1. Regarding your Portfolio 2 - I'm retired, I demand my Yahoo finance, as IT IS, and use it, because it is Simple. So KEEP IT AS IS.

I've used Yahoo Finance for years. I'm retired. I NEED YOUR CURRENT FORMAT to STAY AS IS. All this fancy bologny, is for Geeks. You go ahead with all these Portfolis NON-SENSE ? I'm GONE. Every time computer geeks, change something, THAT AIN"T BROKE ?? You totally ***** US ALL. As evident, by comments below. Leave it ALONE. IT WASN"T BROKE, SO DON"T GET CUTE, and think your doing your customers a Favor, and FIXING IT. I don't need charts, &age's, nor ANY of the NON)SENSE, your planning. Drop this stupid, idea. 2. Please see my comments regarding features removed on version 2 of Portfolio

Portfolio 2 took away a very useful capability. In the "My Holdings" view I used to be able to see on 1 screen, for each lot, the absolute $ value of gains and losses for both the day and the holding period, along with appropriate comments I stored with that lot. This facilitated tax effective buy/sell decisions. I now need to look at both the Share Lots sub-view and the Transaction details sub-view to get that information, and even then I have to calculate the absolute $ amounts. What used to take seconds now requires pen and pencil notes.

    I…

  3. BEWARE! Portfolio 2.0 just deleted all my historical data except for the last 6 entries.

Migrating to Portfolio 2.0 just deleted all my historical data except for the last 6 entries! That's the last straw. I'm done with Yahoo.
First you ruined Yahoo email years ago and I had to find new email.
Then you ruined the My Yahoo page and I had to find a new homepage.
Google left you in their dust and I switched to their search engine.
The only last remaining element of Yahoo that I was using was the Yahoo Finance Portfolio page and now you've ruined that too.
    It's a pity.

  5. you show wrong information on the holdings tab

on the 'transactions' tab of 'my holdings', you show the 'cost' under the header 'Market value'.
I am also missing the unrealized gain/loss on every purchase I entered.
I definitely don't like the new look : I now have to scroll to all my purchases with 'view older traansactions', and each line shows less info, and the lines are too far apart, I prefer the old 'list like' appearance.

  6. Portfolio 2.0 is a DISASTER

Portfolio 2.0 is a disaster! Yahoo Finance is going to cause a mass exodus of people forced to use the new program. You are trying to take what is the best and most highly organized spreadsheet and easy to use spreadsheet on the web and creating something that deletes data and is extremely difficult. After many years, I will leave for Google Finance once the present format is removed.

  8. "Todays gain" column bug in new portfolio view

    Hi,

in new portfolio view, it shows "todays gain" aka meaning share daily change % only when there is position in this share or I am holding the share of the company. Meaning share position is inserted as a row into portfolio.

But must of my listis are watchlists and now with update it does not anymore show any online change for this lists. Please fix that bug.
All share listis are useless as there "-" for the daily change.

  12. The new page does not show the stock's value change and percentage chain.

The new page does not show the stock's daily price change and percentage change. Please correct this so we don't have to click on each individual stock to obtain this information. Also, I have lost all of my notes for the last 20 years. Highly disappointed.

  14. Potfolio BALANCE should be IN the portfolio

The new 2.0 is no better, no worse. But the portfolio balance should be in the portfolio not halfway up the page. Is is that hard? just like a basic excel page, select cells and auto sum.
