  1. Portfolio 2 Export Link

Before it is all destroyed after 20 years does the Portfolio 2 export link portfolio.csv file have the same info & layout as the original quotes.csv? That is the raw data I use. If not Seeking Alpha does. 5/23/24

  2. Allow user to add cash holding as realized gain/loss from option premium

Hi, first of all, I think portfolio 2.0 is great, I am loving it, great job.
I have been trying out the cash management.
Other than the money that I topup into my brokerage, I do option as well. I would consider the premium I received from selling option as a realized gain.
Understand it will be difficult to include options into the portfolio, but can we have a transaction type under cash holding transaction to record them and reflect them as realized gain?

  3. Dividend Transaction Editing

I'm loving the Portfolio 2.0 Beta. The dividend feature is really helpful and exactly what I was looking for. Even though the dividend transactions are accurate 98% of the time, sometimes there are duplicate transactions or some error in a reported dividend. However, currently, there is no option to edit the dividend records.
    1. Please let there be an option where users can edit the dividend transactions after they have been automatically added to the dividends tab or let users add them manually also.
    2. Can you please add a feature of yield on cost wherever applicable?
    3. Option for…

  4. Portfolio 1.0 no longer honors the cash symbol

As of this morning, cash is no longer added to the balance of 1.0 portfolios. I understand the kneejerk reaction is going to be "convert to Portfolio 2.0", but Yahoo has been struggling with Portfolio 2.0 for at least 2 yrs... Now Yahoo is breaking what already works.

Back out the bug in Portfolio 1.0.

  6. Portfolio2.0 Still Can't Do Simple Math

    One example of many.....
    12550 shares. Closing Price $71.44.
    12550 x $71.44 = $896,572.00 NOT $896,572.03 which is what is showing today.
It's always doing this, plus or minus small change, but never accurate on any of my 3 brokerage accounts with all stocks and ETF's that I'm trading.
This started over a year ago and was never fixed. I've complained directly to your team several times and nobody replies.
You would think that having the portfolio accurately perform simple math equations would be a higher priority than wasting your time ruining the interface with the recent useless "upgrades".

WTF?!?! So, NOW 2.0 is making up its own stock symbols. It claims that Starbusks symbol is now SEX while the rest of the world still has SBUX, and its changed Crowdstrike to CRUD ( I guess that's an opinion) from what is actually on the board at CRWD....
What the F**K ar you people doing?!?!?

  9. A finance tracker where I can't see a list of symbols with their daily change. Time to move on.

There is not much to describe. I expect a finance tracker to let me create a table with a list of tickers and see with just a glance their price and price change for the day without the need to tell you my business about how many shares I own of what if any.

There used to be one: it was called yahoo finance. Don't make me go back to Google finance please...

  12. Portfolio 2.0 cash holdings computed incorrectly

Portfolio 2.0 - cash holdings are not computed correctly, it seems that gains (like dividends) are not added up to the cash account (but could be something else).
In general automated cash management is a very good idea but this needs to be fixed.

  13. The Export link address?

Yahoo as of 2024 in the original portfolio of the last 20 years removed the “cryptic user id” info that use to be part of the “Export” link address to download the portfolio data. Data .csv download can now only be done by clicking the Export link directly on the Yahoo portfolio webpage.

Before a desktop shortcut for each portfolio could work for downloading the portfolio.csv files. Now it must be stored only in a cookie, can you put it back as it was for 20 years? Or where can the “cryptic user id” for each of the different portfolios…

  14. Why did you change quotes.csv to portfolio.csv?

Yahoo changed quotes.csv to portfolio.csv and removed user ID from the data Export link so it no longer downloads properly or just an empty csv file, unless a direct click on the webpage link.

  15. Improvement needed on My Holding page layout for individual stocks in the Portfolio2.0

The previous My Holding page layout for individual stocks was better than the Portfolio2.0
It'll be great if you can make 'Share lots' tab configurable and scrollable.
i.e Allow the user to configure/select the columns in the 'Share lots' tab that he want to see.

New system makes monthly dividend info hard to enter,
Have to enter it as purchase rather than old method of
