How do you delete a portfolio?
How do we delete a portfolio? Previous question on this forum just takes me back to the cover page about sending a question.
To delete a portfolio, follow these steps:
- Click on "My Portfolio" in the navigation menu.
- Choose the portfolio you wish to delete from the list under "My Portfolios."
- On the right side, click on "Settings" and select "Delete Portfolio."
- Confirm the deletion by clicking "Confirm."
If you encounter difficulties deleting the default "My Watchlist" or a renamed version of it, we're aware of this issue and are actively working on a solution. Thank you for your patience!

I am using Classic because the new Portfolio is horrible. How do I remove Watchlist?
The I created a bookmark for my portfolio, but when I click it, it gives me both "Watchlist" and my portfolio. How in the devil do I remove the Watchlist so I only get the portfolio I want. Is there anyone at Yahoo Finance QA who tests these things?

Portfolio performance comparison chart
There is no option here to compare the performance of the portfolio with for example the SP500 and with other funds or stocks.
Only in "home page" Portfolio 2.0 is a small graph preview (Annual Performance) without any information.
Everything else seems great to me so far.
Thank you for the feedback. This functionality will be available later this year.

I want to be able to edit the comment field for a company that I have 0 shares of stocks.
I liked version 1.0 because it wasn't Charles Schwab, or some other brokerage company. They locked me into what I could do and not do. And it was real money in real time. I liked Yahoo Finance so I could track my investments and stocks/bonds/cash/etc. Being able to track and add comments to companies that I do NOT own but may invest in later. I lost these feature that Version 1.0 gave me. I want to be able to edit the comment field for a company that I have 0 shares of stocks.
Thank you for your feedback. We're pleased to inform you that we will soon be removing the current restrictions, allowing users like you to follow a symbol without needing to add transactions. This will enable you to track and add comments to companies you don't own shares in, just like in version 1.0.

In Portfolios put a field in for Brokerage Commissions. Allow tracking of sold stocks
Allow a field to put in brokerage commissions.
When you sell a stock you want to know when it was sold and the profit/loss you made on it. This is particularly important when you are declaring this profit/loss on your income taxExplore the enhanced portfolio experience on https://finance.yahoo.com/portfolio, which has many new features to help you better manage your portfolio holdings, including a field for commission. portfolio view
I have a "notes" column in my portfolio view but I don't know how to edit the notes. I have been staring at that page and clicking things for 15 minutes and can't figure it out.
You must have a lot for the symbol in order to leave notes. If you do not, click + Add Lot.

Make it easier to report data feed issues
It'd be nice to be able to easily report when a ticker symbol isn't returning any data. For example, GB00B6QQ9X96.L (https://uk.finance.yahoo.com/quote/GB00B6QQ9X96.L?p=GB00B6QQ9X96.L) but I can't quickly and easily notify that there is no data being returned.
Thank you for your post Roger! If you would like to report data feed issues, you can do so by selecting this link and selecting “Contact Us” :https://help.yahoo.com/kb/finance-for-web

wrong currency for Avg cost/share
Dear Yahoo Finance Team,
I created a portfolio and changed the currency to ËUR. Though it seems that the portfolio still assumes that the Avg cost/share is in USD currency and therefore calculates the wrong gain values.
How to fix this?We would like to further look into this issue. Could you please provide us some screenshots and more specific information about your account at finance.support@verizonmedia.com?

DOW,NASDAQ display
You guys recently changed the top of the page for the DOW,NASDAQ,etc to percent's. We the user should have a choice if we want to see that in dollars or percent. I hate percent.
Thanks for the feedback. We’re thinking about ways to incorporate both price and percent change or let you switch between them. Stay tuned and thanks for using Yahoo Finance!

Inexplicably , you have stopped providing portfolio price data for PXSV, which is the Invesco Russell 2000 Pure Value ETF, a security traded on a daily basis and one on which you have provided price and security data until about 5 days ago. Please investigate and correct!
