I use the Yahoo Finance page nearly everyday and track my own portfolio there.
Under the 'Investment Ideas' section, Yahoo displays 'Top Daily Gainers' and 'Top Daily Losers'. My issue is that nearly every quote is for what appears to be penny stocks. To the average investor with medium to long term goals, penny stock fluctuations are meaningless and simply not relevant. I would suggest a better approach would be to allow users to filter out certain stocks using (for example) stocks that only exceed a certain market-cap value.
