A Quarter of a century I've had this email and I feel abused
Here's my idea.....just because I don't pay for this email and protect my computer with VPN doesn't mean you should abuse me by dancing 10 to 12 CAPTCHAs past me and still want a code sent to my phone. When I got this account NO ONE paid for email! This is a form of bullying, aggressively attempting to force folks into a pay for email. I doubt I'm alone in this concern.

I have been with yahoo mail for decades, 30-40 years. I now need a one time verification code every time to log on. Are strong passwords no longer required? This means I have to sign in to another email provider, very secure and does not require a OVC, to get it. I don't pocess a 'phone.
Is there a setting in mail that I can use to automatically forward incoming mail to my other provider? I will be closing my yahoo account over the next short while and would like to not lose any of my contacts. Yes, I know… -

Why am I forced to use my phone to unlock my account when using my personal PC
Why am I forced to use my phone to unlock my account when using my personal PC even when the keep me signed in box is checked? Never in all the years of using this service have I ever had to do this. In the last 3 months I have had to do this everyday (sometimes multiple times in one day). How do I fix this?

Need to improve blocking of domains
I get a few emails from someone@msn.com, which is ok.
Lately, I have been getting some spam emails from xxxxx@yyyy.msn.com. Often, the yyyy is in the form of a random numeric or alphanumeric long string.
But, the Settings only allow blocking of complete email addresses, without wildcards or simple domains, without wildcards.
I would like to be able to block .msn.com domains and/or *@.msn.com emails, for example.

Why can I not turn off notifications? I'll look at my mail when I want to. It is my secondary email only.

You can turn off notifications in Yahoo Mail.
Click the Settings icon | click More Settings .
- Click Notifications.
- Toggle Desktop notifications OFF

Tired of 2nd Sign-in text in order to access 24 year old email

Blocking ".msn.com" versus "msn.com"
Why can't I block ".msn.com" instead of just "msn.com"? I just added a block to the "domain" today which I'm hoping will pick up all of the SPAM ".msn.com" emails I get daily as they have a billion of them. It looks like we can block ".yahoo.com", but not ".msn.com".

There's no option for this, but you can subscribe to their newsletters again from their website.

There is no classic option in settings.
Hi there. You can only switch to the basic version of Yahoo Mail, by going to Settings>More Settings then click ''Switch to basic mail'' on the left side menu.

Problem in Yahoo mail
when I compose the email on yahoo on the computer I dont get the suggestions for the links of addresses used earlier. I was earlier getting the suggested link but it has stopped about 1 month back.

By providing the service that you state carry over to all devices.
I purchased the Yahoo+ that is supposed to carry over to all devices and it does not. I have deleted the app on my iphone and reinstalled and it still shows ads and asked me to upgrade to yahoo+ so after free trial I will cancel the service.
