  2. add mailbox-add provider cant do

    i have trouble with add mailbox yahoo, to my account, can u help me google?

    cause i see just 4 provider, google, outlook.com,aol, and other.
    and other cant use? cause i wanna add from yahhoo too would u please help this trouble????

  4. create a setting to either enable or disable opening links in new window or tab

    links in messages used to open in a new tab or window. now they are suddenly opening in the same tab or window. Some might like this, others, like me, not. So give us an option. Also consider this for settings in Calendar, settings, news, and other yahoo features.

    Have to select all text then change font for each email. I want to set it to use the same font everytime I write a frick'n email.

    You'll need to be signed into your account from a desktop PC or laptop at mail.yahoo.com, or on the Yahoo Mail app for Android or iOS first. Here are the steps:

    From a web browser:

    1. Sign in to the Yahoo Account Security page.
    2. Click Edit next to the verification option you want to delete.
    3. Click the Edit icon next to the recovery option you want to delete.
    4. Click Remove from my account.
    5. Follow the on-screen prompts to confirm the deletion.

    From most Yahoo mobile apps:

    1. In the upper left, tap your Profile icon.
    2. Tap Manage accounts.
    3. Tap Account info.
    4. Tap Security Settings.
    5. Tap Edit next to the verification option you want to delete.
    6. Tap the Edit icon next to the recovery option you want to delete.
    7. Tap Remove from my account.
    8. Follow the on-screen prompts to confirm the deletion.

    In case you have the account key enabled on the account, the option to reset your password will be disabled. Please temporarily turn off the account key then go to the same page and the option to change your password will be available.

    Here’s some things to check.

    1. Is the Time and Time zone set correctly for the laptop or desktop that you are using.

    2. Do you use a VPN when accessing the Internet?
    3. When you look at the Yahoo Home Page do you see the weather section? If so, does it show your correct location? If not can you click on the icon to the right of the location named and set the correct location. You should also be able to remove any other locations.
    4. If you are using the New Mail you can set your timezone by using these instructions: https://help.yahoo.com/kb/new-mail-for-desktop/sln28570.html
    5. If you are using the New Mail you can set the timezone for your calendar by using these instructions: https://help.yahoo.com/kb/new-mail-for-desktop/sln28063.html

    If these emails are unsolicited, the best thing to do is to mark them as Spam. You can also look for an Unsubscribe option at the bottom of the email.

  13. Notifications on main yahoo page. Please allow an option for them to be disabled. They are almost always irrelevant.

    Please allow for an option to disable notifications on the main yahoo page that link to random (or perhaps poorly targeted) articles. It is mildly annoying to constantly see 2 or 3 "notifications" which upon examination, are merely clickbait or random news, not actually a meaningful or pertinent notification (eg. amber alert, impending nuclear disaster, etc.)

  14. Can't you come up with a blocking tool that blocks based extremely long sender name (ex: ******************@yahoo.com)

    I am getting 20-30 spam mails with yahoo domain names. Sender uses extremely long and convoluted name ex: (*****************@yahoo.com). Isn't there a way for your spam filters can block these emails?

  16. since has no contact information & so does NOT respond to one's need

    since Yahoo has no contact details & so does NOT respond to one's needs, i have no choice but to leave my email address & hope that someone out there on the inter-web will give me the answer: in my Yahoo email window, there are 3 columns: Column 1 lists the folders; Column 2 lists the emails themselves; Column 3 is advertising ... I want to permanently WIDEN the (quite thin) Column 1 (Folder list) ... how do I do it? xxxxxx@y7mail.com

  17. Inbox View Settings

    Could your Techno Geeks, tweek the Inbox Settings, so that emails can be viewed & saved "By Sender" rather than "Latest arrival"? I have this feature on my other more serious business & personal email addresses. Thanks for considering this

    You can find the “More Settings” in Yahoo Mail by clicking on the small grey Gear icon off to the right (right above the side ad, while in your Yahoo Mailbox), and then looking towards the bottom of the menu.

    If you can’t see it, you may need to scroll over to the right part of your screen or zoom out in your browser by holding down the CTRL key and pressing the – (minus sign) key.

    You can mark these emails as Spam as opposed to blocking them. Because spammers can use a near-limitless number of addresses, it’s virtually impossible to block every one. Marking an email as spam not only blocks the sender but also logs the IP address it came from. Too much spam from a given IP and it can get blocked.
