It's cumbersome to select a SORT each time I open the app. Give us a DEFAULT SORT that we can set once and be done with it. You shouldn't be defining our default soft.

I get spammed each and every day. Yahoo needs better filter facility to stop these annoying spams.

view messages from only today
Can there be a view filter option so that I can select how many emails I want to see at a time in a window and control how many days worth of emails automatically pop up such as i can select to see emails just from today, i can select to see emails just from a week's span, etc.

switch off spam filter
SPAM filter has become too aggressive, junking important emails relating to my medical care. This is a recent problem. (August 2021). There seems to be no way of switching this off. You are literally killing me. Please fix this.

New ads in Yahoo Business Mail should be optional
I'm suddenly seeing an ad as the first 'new email' in my email thread on my Yahoo Business Email. I pay for Webhosting and Domains as a part of my yahoo business account. Since I have a paid service, I shouldn't be subjected to ads at the top of my feed which force me to read the headline thinking it is correspondence with a client. I should at the very least be able to go to the tab at the right of this ad and there should be a selection to remove ads from my paid business email account. I…

Permit customisation of inbox.
Allow us to customise our own inbox. ie allow us to permanently hide or delete useless, system-created folders such as starred, and that rubbish under Views ( which constantly reappears even though there is a Hide button). Having this rubbish we dont want interferes with a clean, easy to view in box . YOUR unwanted folders push MY folders off the view of the screen.

Change the default inbox view to remove grouping.
I would like to be able to change the default view such that it not grouped by day. I find this takes up space needlessly. Some people may like this view but I generally use my inbox as a to do list, and chopping things up by these day groups is distracting. Since the list of mails can easily be sorted by date already the grouping is unnecessary (to me at least), and in some cases can reduce the number of messages displayed by up to 50% due to the font size and spacing of the grouping headers. Allow users to add only the domain part if a spam email. Spam emails have the same domain but a different email address.

i don't want 'classic mail' i just want my old format, the one that has real photos, real color and the BBC works ...
if i am in the 'new format' and click on 'settings' i seethe place for switching back to 'classic mail'.. but i DO NOT WANT CLASSIC or the new version, i want the version i had last week, before i was put intothe new ugly one without my concent.

Very upset - pestered to update settings, now emails from my phone are not being received. VERY IMP to send images from my phone NOT working
I updated settings on PC after many pester notices and now emails from my IPHONE are not recieved on my pc. REALLY TERRIBLE!!!!
