Unsubscribe
If I wish to unsubscribe to a contact's email, I will do so. It is not helpful for you to list and offer to unsubscribe a contact's email for me.

Improve existing Unsubscribe Feature
I just got a great Yahoo feature that said it would send unsubscribe notifications to all the emails that I don't use. You have to first hit "unsubscribe" for the sites that you want to unsubscribe from. The other option is to hit "cancel" and to keep those emails. Unfortunately, even though I wanted to unsubscribe from everything listed, I was unable to click on "unsubscribe." When I put my mouse on "unsubscribe" and when I clicked, nothing happened. However, it did allow me to hit "cancel." This was unfortunate because by clicking on "cancel," my computer registered this as…

Increase reading space by moving right hands ads elsewhere
Yahoo mail shows ads, great we get that. However since the ads impinge on my mail reading space it's a BIG drag and ****** off people. The amount of space available to read the email when it is displayed on the right is quite less, half the available space is taken by the ads area.
Please display your ads in a manner that is not so hugely disruptive to the mail reading experience, it smacks of bad design. Please weigh this against how the experience is in Outlook or Gmail - even if you get more money for more colourful… -

Restore the Classic mail button. It is missing. People want the Classic format. This is a major thing...not a minor issue. Thanks!

I pay to have an ad free business email
I pay to have a business account and for it to be ad-free. This is very unprofessional. The first email now is some BS ad that is going to me and techs. Please correct or I will move my email to someplace that understands the difference from business and personal emails.

Don't want upgrade!!!!
I don't want this upgrade. It's terrible and has too many extras that I don't want. All I want is the simple email that I had.

New mail sucks
The new mail won't sort to go through only unread mail when reading email. When I sort for unread and I start reading I don't want it to then go back to every email in date order. I don't like the functionality of the new mail. And now you have taken away the ability to go back to the old email. I am really not happy and honestly if something doesn't change I may quit yahoo mail. It was and is bad enough that there has been such issues with double emails and not deleting emails. Now I can't even…

Spam
There is no indication that there are any email in the Spam folder. It is necessary to open the folder to check. A simple number next to the spam heading would suffice, just like that used for the inbox, as it used to be.

stop with unwanted ads
Stop with the hijacking of our email service. I do not want ads popping up with every click. I do not want ads popping up for others to see on my computer. STOP WITH THE ADS. IT IS UNPROFESSIONAL THAT EVERY CLICK I MAKE, NEW ADS APPEAR ON 1/5 OF MY SCREEN. PAY ME FOR THE ADS, FOR TAKING MY EMAIL AND FORCING ME TO HAVE JUNK ADS.

ads
Cut the ads or we're out. I makes no sense for us to pay for email service and suffer through ads at every turn.

Advertisement at the top of the inbox items list
Advertisements give the means to Yahoo! necessary for providing the great experience for their customers (us); however, these ads, when misplaced or in the way of normal surfing, can be as harmful as losing user-base (who actually make the advertising possible in the first place).
In light of these comments, I would like to suggest that you (Yahoo!):
1. give the customers (and users) the ability to disable auto-playback of video and
2. apply a different background color to the text advertisement place at the top of the Inbox items list.Thank you for your great services, Yahoo!

Many things are wrong with the new mail format/restore Classic mail. Thanks!
Hard to use. Delete is off center and purple may not be for men/women. I can't write an e mail without it malfunctioning..putting things in strange locations...takes up too much space. Buttons are in strange locations. Side list is too faint. Classic mail was perfect. The new mail is far from perfect. We are not bored with Classic mail. Restore Classic mail to all. Thanks!

Import contacts from Facebook
Bring back the option to import contacts from Facebook. It's a very important feature to get the contact details of Facebook Friends., It was Yahoo's unique capability that no one has.
