create folder when in email
when reading an email & wanting to file in a folder, if the folder has not been created you must go out & create the folder then go back to the email to move it to the newly created folder. You should be able to create a new folder from the email view or when in the email.

Why has the "create new folder" been removed from the Move pulldown menu? Please don't respond by telling me that I can create a new folder on the left side menu - I'm well aware of that. I saw Yahoo's reply to someone else who asked the same question, then they closed the post, expecting everyone should be satisfied with the answer. No, we are not satisfied with lame answers. Why put us through the trouble of having to pre-create a folder before I move my emails to it. That's making an extra job that I don't appreciate. When you make improvements (updates) you should aim to make things easier, not more difficult.

The feature to create a new folder when moving mail is convenient. I don't know why this was removed. Please add it back.

Under "Move" you used to be able to "Create A New Folder" if the folder was not already there. This was extremely helpful as that is when you usually find out that you don't have a folder by the same name. PLEASE put this function back!

Please, give back the opportunity to make a new folder when reading an e-mail. You had it before, but now you dont. Now, if you want to move the e-mail to a folder, it has to be there already.

Yes, I sort coupons and kids' activities by their names and I can't see the full title of my folders now.. . On the desktop, I used to be able to activate an arrow and scale the left column for names, but unable to do that now.

I strongly agree! This problem should be placed at the top of the "FIX NOW" list.

I need to be able to create a folder in concert with the "Move" function. Please put that functionality back!
Also, the Folders list column has been narrowed. I can no longer read my folder titles. Please put it back to the old width!
Thank you!

Simply restore 'Create New Folder' to the 'Move' drop-down menu

Yeah let me make folders from the move option again. Who wants to waste the time to exit out and create a file then go back to the email and then move it to the folder you just created? Time consuming and a big pain in the butt.

I agree. That feature was available in the old version. I don't understand why that useful feature was removed.

Please restore the ability to move emails into new folders. There is no such function that I have been able to find. I need to move 30 emails into a folder, with more to follow. I can't create a new folder.
Thank you.

I'm disappointed in the folders creation that Yahoo has cancelled. It was so much easier before when you could just choose to create a new folder right from the menu as you were getting ready to save a message. Now, it's cumbersome and NOT user friendly. Please bring back the other way to create a New Folder!

I found this option a helpful tool in the last version of Mail. It would be in line with the new version to keep things helpful. Please bring it back.

In the existing version when attempting to move mail to a folder, if there isn't a folder listed in the search results there is an option to create a new folder. Please include this feature as it is helpful and makes working that little bit easier.
