How can we improve New Mail?

i have had a yahoo account since the 1990's & have been tricked into a setting i don't like; new, classical. I would like the old.

The old one has better colors, it has lots of emoji, paperless stationary and the color themes are more soothing to the eyes. I would like to switch to that account that i have had for a long time. Is there anyway i can revert what happened 8/30/18? Thanks!

    since you merge, yahoo email has become unbearable and very difficult to navigate. Please revert to the settings I had 8/30/18!
